- The Jacuzzi is just for you, located on the wooden terrace , just 10 meters from the chalet. It's a 6 person luxury jacuzzi (brand: Sundance, model Cameo). We just bought it in november 2010: It's working very well, we love it!

The Chalet Grand Cherf is a welcoming and well-organised structure but I would like to point out two/three critical points:
Upon arrival, a heavy snowfall delayed us by about an hour and with the sun setting, identifying the Chalet was really complicated: it can be reached via a short path on foot but we didn't have optimal directions and furthermore, at our entrance everything it was dark and the Chalet very cold.
Furthermore, a single bathroom in the whole house for 9 people: it takes super close-knit and synchronized families like ours!

A tip for city dwellers: arrive early in the day. It sometimes snows a lot in the mountains!! Everything becomes complicated when you're not used to it!!
The chalet is well surrounded by fir trees and at the end of a 40 meter path from the main street. It is true that on the day of your arrival, 40 cm of snow fell and arriving at night, that complicates everything. Fortunately, I managed to guide you by telephone, despite the late hour.
Regarding the heating, the cleaning lady forgot to check the radiators. I'm sorry and will remind him for the future. I would like to point out here that as you were unable to turn on the radiators and given your great concern:, we sent someone within the hour following your arrival, it was not easy on December 31 at 10 p.m. !
For the bathroom, in fact the chalet is in a configuration from the 70s. I take care to mention this before any reservation and this is also why the price is 50% cheaper than anything you will find for such a location.

Un conseil pour les citadins: arrivez tot dans la journée. Il neige parfois beaucoup en montagne !! Tout devient compliqué quand on n'a pas l'habitude !!
Le chalet est bien entouré de sapins et au bout d'un chemin de 40 metres de la rue principale. Il est vrai que le jour de votre arrivée, il est tombé 40 cm de neige et en arrivant de nuit, celà complique tout. Heuresuement, j'ai réussi à vous guider par téléphone, malgré l'heure tardive.
En ce qui concerne le chauffage, la femme de ménage a oublié de vérifier les radiateurs. J'en suis désolé et vais lui rappeler pour le futur. J'aimerais préciser ici que comme vous n'arriviez pas à allumer les radiateurs et vu votre forte inquiétude: , nous avons envoyé quelqu'un dans l'heure qui suivait votre arrivée, celà n'a pas été facile un 31 decembre à 22.00 !
Pour la salle d'eau, en effet le chalet est dans une configuration des années 70. Je prends soin de le mentionner avant toute réservation et c'est aussi pour celà que le prix est 50% moins cher que tout ce que vous trouverez pour un tel emplacement.

Accommodation fully consistent with the description and great rate for the period.
Ideal location for summer and winter.
The wood burning fireplace and jacuzzi are a real treat after a day of skiing.
Access to the slopes is near and 5 minutes of walking are quite feasible, even for small children.
It feels good in this beautiful mountain environment, away from the luxury shops of Courchevel 1850.
The owner is quite available in case of trouble and check for a deposit rather high, is made very quickly.
The fireplace is a real pleasure!
