We have been coming here every summer for over 10 years. It is a homely apartment, lovely owners and friendly neighbours, with stunning views from the big balcony over the sea. The apartment (first floor) is not fully modernised, it is full of character and that is why we enjoy it so much. It is very well equipped, especially the large kitchen. The property has off street parking, and is a 2 minute walk from the market place and all the town's shops, restaurants and other amenities.

we rent this house for one week in april. 2 adults and 3 children. it was comfortable and cosy and very close to the beach.The contact with the owner was plesant and clear. Wissant was very quiet becose of the season but that is what we like. we also loved de beautiful surroundings.

A wonderful apartment in a perfect location: unblocked views over the sand dunes and a 10 minutes walk to the best baker in town or the main shopping area. The landlord is very attentive and responsive. We felt looked after while privacy has been given. The apartment itself is fully equipped to a high standard.

Excellent position for the beach and the town . A really good venue for children. Well equipped and very comfortable. Would recommend it for a true beach holiday. It also had a good garden for the children to play in. Overall a very good holiday home.

Best apartment we have had in France, position was great right on the promenade and beach just so relaxing to sit on the patio and watch the world go by. The whole apartment was equipped to a high standard, kitchen had all mod cons, comfortable large bed, good power shower and great living /dining area. The communication with Monsieur Cornet was good and the lady who met us with the keys was very helpful. We had great weather all week and the town of Wissant was delightful so unspoiled and typically French, just loved it.

We had a wonderful week in Hardelot. The house was perfect, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. The weather was sunny and we loved the fact we could walk to the huge beach from the back gate. The area was great for us, we cycled everyday on the long cycle ways and the quiet back lanes. All in all a perfect holiday !

We had a very enjoyable week in this apartment. It overlooked the sea at Wissant and endless hours could be spent just staring out of the window! The apartment itself was to a very high standard, Francois seems to have spared no expense in equipping and decorating the apartment. I was a little disappointed there was no wifi as described in the blurb but, to be fair, I did not raise this with Francois and there could be a perfectly satisfactory explanation.

Second stay at this property. Excellent location in property with great character. Overlooking the sea and easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and facilities in Le Touquet. Parking space a real advantage. Well-stocked kitchen for self catering. Adequate heating and constant hot water for a cold, windy February stay. Large balcony available with outdoor furniture which would be a real bonus in warmer months. Would definitely stay again.

An excellent property with great access to the beach, the town and the local area. In a very quiet location but walking distance to everything you need. The property was very well maintained, with every comfort taken care of and really good lay out and room size. View from the back garden is superb and you could relax in the sunshine outside or watch the coast from behind the patio windows if you're unlucky with a wet day. Would highly recommend this house to families with children of all ages. The owner has made the rental experience extremely easy and provides all the information you could want (both before arrival and in a pack left in the house). Liked it so much we have already enquired about booking again for next year!

Christopher from UK We were very pleased with the house. Very clean and very well equiped. The location is superb. A very quiet area but within a few minutes walk of shops and restaurants. From the garden there is a path to the beach and dunes and if the weather is not so good a walk in the opposite direction takes you into the forest. Found plenty to do in the area and easy access onto the motorways for visiting Boulogne and LeTouquet. We would certainly return and recommend the villa for families who want a beach holiday with lots of other diversions.

Excellent property set in a rural position next to a river. Extremely friendly and helpful owners who went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic holiday, even though they do not speak much English (very little in fact!!). Stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep for young children or old people but no problem for anyone else. There are bikes and a small boat at the property which the owners will let you use (subject to experience) and there are shops withing a 20 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride or 5 mins in a car. The people here are very friendly and our 13 daughter who speaks no french soon made friends with the locals and was quite happy riding up and down the road outside the house - which is a dead end road with virtualy no traffic. Best of all this property is only 30 minutes from Calais but because of the watery area it could be a million miles away - it is like a version of the Norfolk Broads - but in minature! Certainly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday who likes water and rural french life. Owners are brilliant!!
