"I am an American expat who lives in France. I have rented apts. for many years all over France, Italy, the U.K. and Greece. I was completely amazed by what I found in renting this property. I have never found any place which was more conform to the description. In fact, this property was beyond the description. Though it is not an elegant 4 star hotel, everything about it is superb in every way. It is clean, there is more equipment and dishes for cooking and dining than you will ever need. It includes a great number of cleaning products, the apt. is accessible in the center of town, it is perfectly silent with big garden and views to town and the mountain. The apt. is light and airy, there are two sleeping spaces which are completely separate having doors in between each one of them. This property is near to everything, the skis lift, the excellent thermal baths, the town center with its shops, restaurants, bars, post office,and the casino. The apt. has wifi, flat screen TV, DVDs & player, and films. The photos of this rental are fine, but not as good as the reality. The best thing about it, however, is the owner, Bernard Fornier. He did everything he possibly could to insure a fine holiday. I did not have a car so he picked me up at the train station, took me around town to pick up my skis and some food, showed me where to find things; he even ran an errand for me in neasrby Andorra. When it was time to leave he drove me back to the train station always helping me with my luggage. I have never met a landlord who is so accommodating, so very helpful, and when you thank him he explains that he gets great pleasure from helping others. He is sensitive to the needs of his renters and goes out of his way to make sure that they have a pleasant stay. You will never find an owner like this gentleman. If you are staying in AX this is the best place you will find. You might find something more luxurious and more expensive, but you will not find anything where the value for the price is better; it just doesn''t exist. We spent 4 days in this gîte with our 3 children. Gîte conforms to the description. Beautiful mountain view. The owners are welcoming and give good advice on activities to do. They provide a room with several games to keep the children busy (table football, ping-pong, cycling, etc.) in case of uncertain weather, this is ideal! I recommend this cottage located in a beautiful little village between Lourdes and Argeles.

Belle vue sur la montagne. Les propriétaires sont accueillants et sont de bons conseils pour les activités à faire. Ils mettent à disposition un local avec plusieurs jeux pour occuper les enfants (babyfoot, ping-pong, vélo...) en cas de temps incertain c'est l'idéal !
Je recommande ce gîte situé dans un beau petit village entre Lourdes et Argeles.
Top rental! Very spacious living room! Functional and clean rental. Nothing was missing. We had a very good stay. The owners are very pleasant. I recommend this rental with my eyes closed.

We are very satisfied with our stay. The view of the mountain range is magnificent. Located about fifty meters from the ski slopes. And the delivery of bread to the door is very appreciated!

Beautiful apartment with a beautiful view and well equipped, perfect for couples with two or three children. Access to the slopes leaving the building via a simple blue slope. Very pleasant place to spend a good vacation. Thank you for the good advice from the owner and for the concierge service.

We had a very good stay in this ideally located accommodation (everything is within walking distance!), and 20 minutes by car from the Pont d'Espagne. Our only regret is not having stayed there longer. The accommodation is not very large, but very well appointed and equipped. We will come back without hesitation.
