This is a small, bright and clean apartment with lovely terrace overlooking the Somme Bay. It is in a residential area about 20 mins from le Crotoy centre and we didn't find any local shops - best to shop in advance.
I think 4 persons (2 would sleep on sofa bed in main room) would find the space tight. The toilet is on the floor below the large bathroom which is a little inconvenient, particularly negotiating the stairs at night.
I would suggest that the owners should consider upgrading the crockery and cooking utensils which would give a higher rating. Most people choose self catering because they want the flexibility of cooking for themselves rather than using restaurants all the time.
French owned, this is possibly more geared to French holidaymakers. For us, it was an easy drive from Calais and we found some excellent restaurants in the area. The owners were very helpful.
We were very pleased with this warm and comfortable cottage, which matched the description and photos supplied. The location, overlooking the beach and close to shops and restaurants, is great.
If you decide to rent this property, remember to take sheets, (not duvet covers) towels and large, square pillow cases with you as they are not supplied.
You should also be aware of the need to purchase a parking permit -we understand a weekly permit is available from the Mairie. Offseason, we parked in the courtyard as no-one was occupying the adjacent property but that was just good luck. The courtyard is quite difficult to drive into, however.
The owners were very welcoming and available. Everything was well thought out, down to the toilet paper and paper towels. Very practical for traveling light. We were treated to a welcome basket and recommendations for activities to do. The accommodation offers a superb view. The only negative points: - accommodation not very suitable for a family because it is not spacious. - not suitable when looking for a quiet place, because you can hear cars passing by. You also have to have a deep sleep...very early in the morning, you are woken up by the seagulls and the church.

Tout était bien pensé, jusqu'au papier toilette et essuie-tout. Très pratique pour voyager léger.
Nous avons eu droit à un panier de bienvenue et des recommandations par rapport aux activités à faire.
Le logement offre une superbe vue.
Les seuls points négatifs :
- logement peu adapté pour une famille car il n'est pas spacieux.
- ne convient pas lorsqu'on recherche un endroit au calme, car on entend passer les voitures.
Il faut avoir le sommeil profond également...le matin très tôt, on est réveillé par les mouettes et l'église.
The accommodation is very good, however there is no cold water in the downstairs bathroom (boiling water) and even more detrimental is the inoperative WIFI which was detrimental for 2 people who wanted to work. This observation is all the more regrettable because the previous tenants had reported it and the owner did not do what was necessary to remedy it. Last point, this accommodation is indicated for 8 people and there are only 6 chairs in good condition, those that count are in very poor condition. Please note that the people who take care of reception and departure arrangements are very warm and available.
Le logement est très correct cependant il n'y a pas d'eau froide dans la salle de bain du bas (eau bouillante) et plus préjudiciable encore le WIFI inopérant ce qui a été préjudiciable pour 2 personnes qui souhaitaient travailler. Ce constat est d'autant plus regrettable car les locataires précédents l'avaient signalé et que le propriétaire n'a pas fait le nécessaire pour y remédier. Dernier point ce logement est indiqué pour 8 personnes et il n'y a que 6 chaises en bon état, celles qui font le compte sont en très mauvais état. A noter, que les personnes qui s'occupent des modalités d'accueil et de départ sont très chaleureuses et disponibles.
Contact was very practical and quick with the owner. The place is quiet, parking is easy and free. The rental was spotlessly clean; visibly refurbished and immediately practical, equipped with the necessary equipment for both cooking and cleaning. Excellent layout of the bedrooms, with cupboards, electric shutters. Immediate proximity to the free funicular, which allows you to avoid driving into Le Tréport. Small supermarket nearby. Le contact a été très pratique et rapide avec le propriétaire. L'endroit est calme, le stationnement aisé et gratuit. La location était impeccablement propre; visiblement remise à neuf et immédiatement pratique, dotée du matériel nécessaire tant en cuisine que pour le ménage. Excellent aménagement des chambres, avec placards, volets électriques. Proximité immédiate du funiculaire gratuit, qui permet de ne pas aller en voiture dans Le Tréport. Petite supérette à proximité. Excellent rental, functional, comfortable and very endearing. A haven of peace 2 steps from the bay by a small staircase and very close to all the shops. The house is as described, it is spacious and bright especially on the 1st floor with a view of the bay. I highly recommend this rental.
Excellente location, fonctionnelle, confortable et très attachante. Un havre de paix à 2 pas de la baie par un petit escalier et très proche de tous les commerces. La maison est telle que décrite, elle est spacieuse et lumineuse surtout au 1er étage avec vue sur la baie. Je recommande vivement cette location.
Pretty little fisherman's house, which shares its courtyard with another house. Not easy to park in the yard but we managed! :-) Very well located, close to the sea and a few minutes walk from the shops. The ground floor includes a large bedroom and a very small bathroom (shower) + laundry room. The floor is friendly and bright. The description should be adapted as there is no longer a cot. The photos should also be updated because the furniture has changed somewhat. We had a good stay there.
Jolie petite maison de pêcheur, qui partage sa cour avec une autre habitation. Pas évident de se garer dans la cour mais on a réussi! :-) Très bien située, à deux pas de la mer et à quelques minutes à pied des commerces. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend une grande chambre et une très petite salle d'eau (douche) + buanderie. L'étage est convivial et lumineux. La description devrait être adaptée car il n'y a plus de lit bébé. Les photos devraient également être mises à jour car le mobilier à quelque peu changé. Nous y avons passé un bon séjour.
Apartment in line with what I expected: located on the ground floor with secure parking in front of the building, maximum comfort inside, terrace at the back with lawn and direct view of the bay of Crotoy. To advice.

Nicely decorated and very well equipped apartment. We didn't miss anything. We were 4 with two young children and everything was very good (cot, bedding, duvets, pillows, dishes, kitchen utensils, garden furniture, etc.) Unobstructed view of the bay, really very pleasant. Perfect location in a very quiet area and not far from the shops (maybe 10 minutes on foot). A bad little point for the mattress of the double bed which we found too firm. Otherwise nothing to say!
Appartement joliment décoré et très bien équipé. Nous n'avons manqué de rien.
Nous étions 4 avec deux enfants en bas âge et tout était très bien (lit parapluie, literie, couettes, oreillers, vaisselles, ustensiles de cuisine, salon de jardin, etc.)
Vue dégagée sur la baie, vraiment très agréable. Emplacement parfait dans un coin très calme et non loin des commerces (peut-être 10 minutes à pied).
Un mauvais petit point pour le matelas du lit deux places que nous avons trouvé trop ferme.
Sinon rien à redire !
