Perfect rental for a small family, the large beach is 50 meters away and the "pedestrian" streets very close to the rental. No parking space, but in Saint Cast, parking lots are free and there are plenty of them.

A perfect, modern and pleasant accommodation. And the sea nearby.... Welcoming and friendly owners. Finally, the small town of Saint-Cast-le-Guildo, where calm and cleanliness are at the rendezvous, deserves more than one visit. The proposed house is a real little paradise with a breathtaking view. The comfort, the state of cleanliness as well as the equipment available are excellent. The localization is very good. Very good stay, housing, home, environment. The house is quietly situated with a very pleasant environment, very beautiful sea view and the Ebihens islands, especially at sunrise. The rental is as described, comfortable and well equipped. Beautiful outdoor living space with terrace and south facing garden very popular on sunny days. The contacts with the owner have been really cordial with lots of information whether for sightseeing or good addresses. We were able to enjoy this beautiful corner of Brittany: St Jacut de la Mer with access to the Ebihens Islands on foot at low tide, Cape Fréhel and Fort la Latte nearby, and also a boat trip from St Cast for a visit on the bird reserve at the foot of Cap Fréhel or St Malo or Erqui.

La maison est située au calme avec un environnement très agréable, très belle vue mer et les iles Ebihens, surtout au lever du soleil. La location est conforme à la description, confortable et bien équipée. Bel espace de vie extérieur avec terrasse et jardin plein sud très appréciés les jours de soleil.
Les contacts avec le propriétaire ont été vraiment très cordiaux avec beaucoup d’informations que ce soit pour les visites ou les bonnes adresses.
Nous avons ainsi pu profiter de ce beau coin de Bretagne : St Jacut de la Mer avec accès aux Iles Ebihens à pied à marée basse, le cap Fréhel et Fort la Latte tout près, et aussi balade en bateau au départ de St Cast pour vue sur la réserve des oiseaux aux pieds du Cap Fréhel ou vers St Malo ou Erqui.

Concerning the region, we did not know this little end of the Côtes d'Armor and it was a superb discovery, as much by the beauty of the coast, as the communes that we could visit, appreciate: St Cast the Guildo, St Jacut of the Sea, Isle of Ebihens, Lancieux, St Briac sur mer, an "emerald" water, changing colors from morning to evening, and we were able to enjoy sublime sunrises and sunsets. Location très agréable, conforme au descriptif : maison confortable très bien équipée, au calme, terrain spacieux, dotée d'une vue superbe sur le littoral dont on ne se lasse pas, on s'y sent bien, d'autant que les propriétaires, Mr et Mme L. ont le souci permanent du bien être de leurs locataires ; très bon contact du début à la fin. Concernant la région, nous ne connaissions pas ce petit bout des Côtes d'Armor et ce fut une superbe découverte, tant par la beauté du littoral, que les communes que nous avons pu visiter, apprécier : St Cast le Guildo, St Jacut de la Mer, Ile des Ebihens, Lancieux, St Briac sur mer, une eau "émeraude", des couleurs changeantes du matin au soir, et nous avons pu profiter de levers et couchers de soleil sublimes. Et n'en déplaise à certains, eh bien nous avons bénéficié d'une semaine ensoleillée en Bretagne !!! Nous reviendrons sans hésitation afin de pouvoir explorer plus en détails ce très bel endroit.

The house is fairly new, so it is not the beautiful, old stone houses that you see there, everywhere. It's very spacious and with great attention to detail. The only drawback might be the distance to the beach. It has indeed a lot of beaches to choose from, but it's just always associated with a 10 minute walk. But one lives but also in a district of the otherwiseapparently is reserved mostly locals. So if you do not always want to lug all his furniture to the beach, you're in good hands there. Maybe you should note that it goes downhill to the beach, which means it goes back depending on the route and climb ever steeper.

Das Haus ist recht neu, es entspricht also nicht den schönen, alten Steinhäusern, die man dort überall sieht. Es ist sehr geräumig und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Das Haus steht in der zweiten Reihe und ist nur über eine Stichstraße zu erreichen. Das schließt größere Lärmbelästigungen schon einmal per se aus. Den Schlüssel gab es in einer Crepeterie in der Nähe, die auch so unbedingt einen Besuch lohnt.
Ansonsten hat uns besonders die Vielfalt an Küchenausstattung fasziniert, außer ein paar Gewürzen muss man hier wirklich gar nichts mehr mitbringen. Nicht einmal zu Hause verfügen wir über so ein Vielfalt an Kochgeschirr, Gläsern, Tassen und Tellern. Es gibt reichlich Schlafgelegenheiten und so hatten wir für sieben Personen mehr als genug Platz.
Bislang gibt es ja nur französische Kommentare, wir waren leider alle des französischen nicht mächtig. Und haben alles mit google translator gebucht. Klappte eigentlich ganz gut.
Einziges Manko ist vielleicht die Entfernung zum Strand. Man hat zwar jede Menge Strände zur Auswahl, aber es ist halt immer mit einem ca. 10 minütigen Fußweg verbunden. Dafür wohnt man aber auch in einem Ortsteil der sonst scheinbar überwiegend Einheimischen vorbehalten ist. Wenn man also nicht immer sein gesamtes Mobiliar zum Strand schleppen möchte, ist man dort sehr gut aufgehoben. Anmerken sollte man vielleicht noch, dass es zum Strand bergab geht, das heißt zurück geht es je nach gewählter Route auch schon einmal etwas steiler bergauf.
Wer also keinen Meerblick und historisch anmutende Steinwände erwartet, ist hier sehr gut aufgehoben.

For a first trip to the Emerald Coast, we have been completely satisfied: taking location more than friendly, very quiet, all amenities available within a radius of 800m (market place on Monday, bakery, fish and press tobacco) and a beautiful beach very large family. Pour un premier voyage sur la Côte d'Emeraude, nous avons été entièrement satisfait : prise de location plus que conviviale, quartier très calme , tous les commerces accessibles dans un rayon de 800m (marché sur la place le lundi, boulangerie, poissonnerie et presse tabac) et une magnifique grande plage très familiale.
Nous avons profité avec grand bonheur de cette maison tout à fait conforme à sa description.
