Isabel's Apartment is located in a quiet side street high on the hill above Sesimbra (I would recommend having a car, unless you don't mind doing some serious climbing on foot every day). The apt. is fully equipped, with a view over the village and ocean that is simply wonderful. Photos in the advert reflect exactly what you will find.
Internet access is about the only thing that is lacking, but is available in several bars and restaurants for free along the seaside.
Isabel is a very friendly and helpful lady, and so it is with pleasure that we recommend her apt.
We have spend a lovely time in Funchal.

Our kids played whole days with their daughter in the swimming pool.
The household is very good, clean is the word!
From this house you have a lovely view on the centre of Funchal, Luiz can indicate where to go and what to visit. Nice restaurants have aslo been on our menu and there are lots of occasions to eat also recommended by our host.
No effort is too much for this multi language speaking lovely Portugees.
If ever we were to go back to Funchal we know where would be staying!

Seeing this property, from the point of view of a large group of people, we can say that we were very grateful for the space and its good condition, which managed to accommodate all the members of this large group in a comfortable way. Upon arrival we found exactly what was described to us by the owner, all in excellent condition. We really liked the location of the house, which is extremely close to the beach and relatively close to the center of Manta Rota. We just have to thank Mrs. Alexandra Ribeiro for her availability and flexibility with us, a big thank you and we will be back. 5??

The apartment is very large, very pleasant to live in and very well located because the beach is just 10 minutes away on foot and the supermarket 5 minutes away. You have everything you need to cook, the apartment lacks nothing! The setting is really very nice for staying with family and you can take advantage of the hotel's services, a real plus! The owners are very nice and available if you need! I recommend with your eyes closed if you are looking for a calm, family environment to recharge your batteries! We will return there, for sure!
L'appartement est très grand, très agréable à vivre et très bien situé car la plage est à 10 minutes à peine à pied et le supermarché à 5 minutes. Vous avez tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner, l'appartement ne manque de rien! Le cadre est vraiment très sympa pour y séjourner en famille et on peut profiter des prestations de l'hôtel un vrai plus! Les propriétaires sont très gentils et disponibles si vous avez besoin! Je recommande les yeux fermés si vous recherchez un environnement calme, familiale pour vous ressourcez! Nous y retournerons, c'est sûr!

Our stay went well, the site is calm, the view is very pleasant. In the distance, we can see the ocean and we had the right every day to magnificent sunsets on the balcony. The apartment is comfortable and spacious. The beach is accessible on foot, about 10-15 min. We really enjoyed these 2 weeks. Nevertheless, if I may allow myself 2-3 remarks: We did not eat on the balcony because the garden furniture is in very poor condition. The legs of the chairs are in danger of collapsing and the table is not in much better condition. The furniture really needs to be renewed.
Overall, the apartment seemed clean but the kitchen hood was really dirty, the top of the fridge when we arrived was dirty too. I had to bleach the floor of the 2 bathrooms myself because the joints were very dirty, especially around the WC.
Finally, there is no storage unit in the kitchen to store our groceries. We had to store everything on the worktop because there was no storage cupboard available! Neither in the kitchen, nor in the dining room. These few negative points did not prevent usto spend a pleasant holiday because the apartment is very good. It's also a shame that there are no shutters, this would limit the heat and the use of air conditioning, especially since it's more pleasant for sleeping. On the other hand, the follow-up of our vacation was impeccable, as well as the precision of the information which was very useful to us. We appreciated the seriousness of the owners and their kindness during our discussions.
We will definitely be back.
Notre séjour sest bien passé, le site est calme, la vue est très agréable. Au loin, on aperçoit l'océan et nous avons eu le droit tous les jours à de magnifiques couchés de soleil sur le balcon. L´appartement est confortable et spacieux. La plage est accessible à pied, environ 10-15 min.
Nous avons vraiment apprécié ces 2 semaines.
Néanmoins, si je peux me permettre 2-3 remarques :
Nous n´avons pas mangé sur le balcon car le mobilier de jardin est en très mauvais état. Les pieds des chaises menacent de s'écrouler et la table n'est guère en meilleur état. Le mobilier a vraiment besoin d'être renouvelé.
Dans l'ensemble, l'appartement paraissait propre mais la hotte de la cuisine était vraiment très sale, le dessus du frigo à notre arrivée était sale aussi.
J'ai dû javeliser moi-même le sol des 2 salles de bain car les joints étaient très sales, surtout autour des WC.
Pour finir, il manque un meuble de rangement dans la cuisine pour ranger nos courses. Nous avons dû tout stocker sur le plan de travail car aucun placard de rangement disponible ! Ni dans la cuisine, ni dans la salle à manger.
Ces quelques points négatifs ne nous ont pas empêchés de passer d'agréables vacances car l'appartement est très bien. Dommage aussi qu'il n'y ait pas de volets, cela limiterait la chaleur et l'utilisation de la climatisation, d'autant plus que pour dormir c'est plus agréable.
Pour contre, le suivi de nos vacances fut irréprochable, ainsi que la précision des informations qui nous furent très utiles. Nous avons apprécié le sérieux des propriétaires et leur amabilité durant nos échanges.
Nous reviendrons certainement.

It's already the third year that I've been going on vacation to this apartment, because I think the house and the location are very good. Building in good condition and although it has many apartments, until today nothing to point out the neighborhood.
Já é o terceiro ano que vou de férias para este apartamento, por achar que a casa e a localização é muito boa. Prédio com boas condições e embora tenha muitos apartamentos, até hoje nada a apontar da vizinhança.
