The house (actually two houses) was super for us. We had enough space inside and out for our needs. Everything we needed was available in the house and in the kitchen. When it was a bit cold, Luigi would bring us blankets - he was always there when we needed him - so it was a pleasure! Thanks once again for the good wine, the peppers and the biscuits from your garden ...
When we were there, in late September / early October, most of the bars and restaurants were closed and there was no shopping in Marina di Andrano and there weren't many guests left. Castro and Andrano are not far, but a car is needed.
The rocky beach is beautiful, even when it is windy there is always a place to get wet. We will come again, Luigi!

If I go back to Salento I will definitely return.
Spacious and clean apartment with a terrace from which you can enjoy an exceptional view of the coast. Furthermore, the house is located in a strategic point that allows you to discover the beauties of Salento in a few minutes. Holidays to be redone.

Outdoor spaces and showers in the garden were very useful for our group of 16 people with several children. The location is ideal, because a stone's throw from the sea and the beautiful Green Grotto, a marvel of the Salento Adriatic still little known, which can be easily reached on foot. The village is quiet, ideal for families with children; it is also not far from the most famous places like Otranto and S. Maria di Leuca.

It is a place where we would like to return and that we therefore recommend to everyone.
The area is strategic to visit both the north (Otranto) and the south (SM di Leuca).
The house is well maintained and comfortable, only in the small shower (but there is the possibility of access to an outdoor shower, if necessary). Thanks to Mr. Luigi, very helpful and kind!

The property is spacious, with two apartments with 6-7 beds, on two separate levels, each with a kitchen and bathroom, also has 3 outdoor showers, and 2 further bathrooms in two wooden houses that serve as additional beds. At the rear of the second house is a small garden with a fireplace for barbecue and enough space to dine comfortably in 13. The house has two parking spaces and if necessary it is easy to find others along the way.
The location of the house is great, only 50 meters from the sea and 100 from the famous Green Cave, in a very quiet town on the Adriatic coast of Salento. We used the house as a base to visit all the most famous of the Salento, which are all within an hour's drive.
Finally, the owners were most kind and helpful. We were very happy to have chosen this house for our holidays.
The hospitality of Mr. Luigi was friendly and courteous; we were pleasantly surprised by his tribute, on arrival, bread and tomatoes for everyone.
The villa, as explained in the ad, is actually a three-minute walk from the sea and the picturesque Green Cave. In the immediate area there are sandy beaches (or Otranto you have to reach the Ionian coast) but the rocky coast offered us impressive experience, as bathing in the natural pool a few kilometers from Andrano. The area also offers solutions evening among the most varied, from local festivals to beautiful, but for that you need a car.
The courtesy and friendliness of the locals is undeniable, frommanager of the kiosk-delicatessen at 100 meters from the villa to the medical center (which unfortunately we had to visit) which is a kilometer or two from the villa.
In conclusion, I highly recommend this housing solution, especially as a base to visit the different places of the wonderful Salento that has remained in my heart!
The house that has hosted 17 to 24 August is the 'ideal for those of us (5 adults and a small dog) want spacious and bright, fresh and airy rooms and above all a true "sea view" (100 actual meters from the 'water of the sea).
Useful the reserved parking space, outdoor shower and an outdoor space furnished with a large table and chairs.
The resort is quiet and definitely less crowded than at places known to be more publicized, but at the same time provides several meeting places, beaches and ideal for local young people.
The strong point of the resort is the beautiful Green Grotto located practically next door, accessible both by land and by sea (great for those who prefer rock to sandy beaches and especially for those who love snorkeling).
Finally, it is only right to say a few words about the owner of the house Mr. Luigi that in addition to giving us products coming straight from the father, it has proved to be very helpful and hospitable now, and always garbatissimo all 'occurrence than ready to solve any problem.
Just arrived we have provided a number of tips and useful information, all of which proved invaluable on restaurants, markets, festivals, places to visit and boat trips.
