The apartment is elegant, comfortable and very well equipped. The balcony has a beautiful exposure to the calm with a view of the very pleasant swimming pool of the residence. Lots of storage. Pleasant volume with the cathedral roof of the living room. Clarification concerning the staircase of the duplex: steep and narrow without overcoming on the floor, you have to be careful. Very clean common areas.
Its location is ideal. A few minutes walk away you will find: - the markets open every day (except Monday in June) which offer a wide variety of local products (a nod to the organic market gardener with her delicious fruits and vegetables), - the contact crossroads, - a pharmacy, - several bike rental companies, - secure access to a large and beautiful beach, - several bars and restaurants, - a small carnival, - a small cinema at the foot of the residence.
La Couarde sur Mer is located in the middle of the island, which allows you to visit it without going too far.
A must see: the whale lighthouse, cycling to Pointe du Grouin through the salt marshes, St Martin de Ré, ...

L'appartement est élégant, confortable et très bien équipé. Le balcon a une belle exposition au calme avec une vue sur la piscine très agréable de la résidence. Beaucoup de rangements. Volume plaisant avec le toit cathédrale de la pièce de vie. Précision concernant l'escalier du duplex : raide et étroit sans pallier à l'étage, il faut se montrer prudent. Parties communes très propres.
Son emplacement est idéal. A quelques minutes à pied, vous trouverez :
- les halles ouvertes tous les jours (sauf le lundi en juin) qui offrent une grande variété de produits locaux (petit clin d'œil à la maraîchère bio avec ses fruits et légumes délicieux),
- le carrefour contact,
- une pharmacie,
- plusieurs loueurs de vélos,
- un accès sécurisé à une grande et belle plage,
- plusieurs bars et restos,
- une petite fête foraine,
- un petit cinéma au pied de la résidence.
La Couarde sur Mer se situe au milieu de l'île, ce qui permet de la visiter sans faire trop de distance.
A voir absolument : le phare des baleines, aller en vélo jusqu'à la Pointe du Grouin à travers les marais salants, St Martin de Ré, ...

Clean apartment very well located. Close to shops, bike rental companies and the beach. Parking and storage for bicycles very practical. Exchanges with the owners very cordial, easy and fast. Too bad the wifi is not functional but 4G without worries. Little space in the bike room.

Very warm welcome, the house is well maintained, the courtyard is very pleasant, especially in the middle of town. The rental is located in the city center and close to amenities but also to historic buildings and the port. The village is very beautiful and the flowery streets.

Very nice house, we rented it for 9 people for the Christmas holidays. The house corresponds perfectly to the photos and the descriptions. The house is located in a small, quiet village just next to Chatelaillon. The only point to improve would be a wifi box.

Housing well located in the center of Ars en Ré. Close to any trade, port, market. Rented bikes and put the car in the free parking lot, for the whole week. Quiet accommodation, at the end of a dead end. Once properly installed, we are there. It is preferable to have a small car, the house is located at the end of an alley. They are numerous on the island. The interior is sober, but there is everything you need for the holidays. To recommend ratio / quality / price. The owner is nice.

Il est préférable d'avoir une petite voiture, la maison est située au fond d'une venelle. Elles sont nombreuses dans l'île.
L'intérieur est sobre, mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut pour les vacances.

Excellent location, the sea just 200m from the city center. Spacious exterior with shade and sun. The interior of the house seems to have remained in its "juice" with antique furniture in particular. Would need a good refreshment. Concerns during the stay with the Internet box which has stopped working. The operator had to pass. Not important. A brief electrical problem corrected with the circuit breaker located in the garage. Very good stay overall. Owners listening.

L’intérieur de la maison semble être restée dans son « jus » avec des meubles anciens notamment. Nécessiterait un bon rafraîchissement.
Soucis pendant le séjour avec la Box internet qui a cessé de fonctionner. L’opérateur devait passer. Pas très grave.
Un soucis bref électrique corrigé avec le disjoncteur se trouvant dans le garage.
Très bon séjour globalement.
