For those who prefer the latter, we recommend visits to "Le Rocchette" and "Il Capezzolo". Another paradise for beach goers is Cala Violina, a splendid bay characterized by its white sandy beach and crystalline waters. Cala Violina is just 4km from Castiglione. Marina di Grosseto is an ideal location for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Guests at Il Papavero may bring their dog with them. If you decide to travel with your pet, between Marina di Grosseto and Castiglione della Pescaia, just 6km from the agriturismo, there is an open beach where you are free to let your dog play. Agriturismo Il Papavero is also near important natural resources like the Maremma Nature Park and the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve. It is also an area rich in art and culture. Important archeological finds bear testimony to the ancient civilizations that once populated these lands (Roselle and Vetulonia). And for those who appreciate fine food and wine, there is no shortage of excellent restaurants offering traditional dishes made from quality local produce. Il Papavero can also be used as a base for exploring world-famous cities of art like Rome (180km), Florence (130km), Siena (70km), Pisa (150km) and Grosseto (6km), all reached quite easily from the agriturismo.
There are three golf courses within easy reach of Il Papavero: Golf Club Punta Ala, Maremmello in Orbetello and il Pelagone at Gavorrano, where golf enthusiasts can enjoy a day out throughout the year.

Thank you for the good products (fruits, vegetables and olive oil with homemade pie) offered during our rental.
The bedding is of very good quality and the air conditioning is very welcome in August.
Attention for teenagers, no wifi during the stay.
We recommend without hesitation.

We stayed for 4 days: hospitality really taken care of by Mrs. Mariella and her children.
Very cozy, clean and really comfortable apartment.
A very beautiful garden immersed in the family business.
The dinner on Saturday night made us taste the true flavors of the Maremma. All the dishes are prepared by the owner with the company's products. The value for money is excellent. The environment is very nice and really nice.

Distance from the sea is rather short.
I recommend it to everyone, and to those who want a holiday just the sea, than to those who like to turn to the countries of the Maremma.
