Just a few minutes away is Camaiore, memorable for its historic center and the romanesque church. Viareggio, a famous seaside resort, made famous for its carnival and the floats of "papier-mâché". Torre del Lago Puccini, a town that takes its name from the composer, every summer, pays homage to its master by hosting the Puccini festival with an outdoor theater overlooking Lake Massaciuccoli, performing works of the composer.
