A lovely chalet in a great location. Ski-in and ski-out, but not for complete beginners.
The chalet is very well furnished and equipped, particularly the kitchen.
Communication with the owner was good too, which can be useful.
Well priced, would thoroughly recommend this chalet for a group.
Great place in a perfect location (10 mins walk from lift and in the heart of town).
Would have preferred to have had online booking/ payment but e-mails and other arrangements worked fine.
The apartment was superb - small but perfectly formed and exactly as described The owner had made sure there was everything available (cleaning products; coffee filter papers, etc) and he attended as planned and took the deposit etc. Perfect location - right in the middle of the village and near nice bars and restaurants and ski hire.
We had a great stay in Avoriaz, the apartment was amazing. Lots of space and plenty of showers and toilets to accommodate everyone. Great views over the centre of Avoriaz. Apartment had all equipment that you would need. Especially I would like to thank the owners who managed to accommodate a late check out which gave us the opportunity to ski the morning of our departure. Overall we were all extremely happy with our weekend away and I can convey enough how helpful the owners were with everything that we asked.. We would highly recommend this apartment. We loved this apartment. We stayed for a week, my husband, son, and I. The bedroom is spacious, the kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated and very nice, and the living room is a perfect size. It's very close to the Savoy lift and to the center of town. There's underground parking which is also very convenient. The owner is very accommodating and replies promptly to emails. We would definitely rent it again, and we highly recommend it!!
All lovely as before...this is the second time we have stayed here! This time we stayed in the smaller apartment. All really lovely, but if you are used to luxurious bedding I would recommend you bring your own duvet and comfy pillows. We were told there were blankets to use!! We stayed for 2 weeks, so is quite important for me to have quality bedding. Apart from that all very very good!, warm, sunny, well equipped and very convenient for the supermarket!

The apartment is very warm, clean and comfortable. The owners are delightful. We had a lovely week here again. We come to la Clusaz a lot, and people always say, oh don't stay in Villard or St Jean as the traffic is terrible during the the holiday times... we that wasn't the case at all. Each morning we left by 08.45 and had no problems getting to the slopes!
The apartment is South facing, so lovely and light with wonderful views. The owner keeps the drive completely free of snow, so no need for chains!
Chalet apartment La Clusaz 5 people Rental Les Villards-sur-Thônes, to approx. 3.7 mi from La Clusaz - Haute-Savoie - Rhone-Alps
Charming chalet, ideal for 2 families. Very good equipped. Exceptional views. Right in front of the ski slopes which allows skiing from and to the chalet. Enough space to store / dry the ski equipment. Just keep in mind 300 meters that you have to carry luggage, food stuff etc. from parking to the chalet in winter times. Anyway: We´ll be back soon!
My wife and I stayed for 6 weeks. Great location, less than 5 minute walk to town centre. Good sized balcony for a studio with stunning view. All as advertised, seperate bunk room very useful and kitchen well stocked with pots and pans, etc. Close to ski bus stop and always a parking space available outside. Well soundproofed so very little noise from neighbours. Bed in lounge was comfy. Nice shower. Good value and would definitely stay here again. Owner and contact in town very nice and helpful. Quick to respond to questions.
Not easy to find - actually almost at the end of the small narrow lane. Quite small accommodation but just manageable for 4. Very small kitchenette area in particular with no work surfaces to prepare food. Sofa bed is ok as a bed but not a comfy sofa and only hard back dining chairs to sit on. Fridge noisy (needed to switch this off at night). Clean (not spotless), very basic but warm with lots of hot bath/shower water when needed. Lovely views from the balcony. Easy walk downhill to gondola station (not so easy back as very steep). Nice stroll away from town (approx 20 mins) which is lovely and has plenty of shops/bars/ restaurants. Great boulangerie close by. Great ski area so for the apartment price (we stayed at half term) we cant really complain too much.
This lovely apartment is situated in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the town center. It was very clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. We highly recommend it.
Excellent facilities; good, modern and very comfortable. Perfect location !! - walking distance to Linga lifts and bus stop outside for Pre La Jeux

I was very impressed with the communication to start with. Mr Lavanchy answered all my questions in a very timely fashion.
I was very anxious, as this was our first skiing holiday with our children. I wanted it to be perfect. Well, I can definitely say that the apartment made it just right for us and we enjoyed our Christmas in France for the first time.

This was an excellent, well positioned property with every conceivable item within its inventory needed to make your stay pleasurable. A very very minor criticism, from the children anyway, was that there was no English speaking TV. To us adults this was not an issue. The owner David Mermoud, we found to be very helpful and courteous. I have no hesitation in recommending this property and we will without doubt be returning.
A superb Chalet for any season, we had seven young kids with us and they loved it. Franck the owner is friendly courteous and helpful and we would all like to say thanks to him for making our stay so pleassant. There is so much skiing in easy reach and even late in the season most slopes were open. Flaine whilst not pretty is contained, safe and great for young children.
The Chalet was in great condition having been only recently renovated, with everything you could wish for. Go there!
The agreement being in French was difficult for us to understand exactly. We cleaned the appartment but it was possibly not to the standard required on the agreement. However the immoblier was very helpful and accomadating.
