The house "Pignes and Lucques" awaits you with 3 bedrooms for 6 people and a large above ground pool (10 × 5 m). It's located on the outskirts of the village of Fontès in the heart of Herault, near Pezenas, and is classified 4 stars 'meublés de tourisme'.
The location is exceptional:
30 minutes from the Mediterranean beaches, 20 minutes from the 'grand site' lac du Salagou and Mourèze. 10 minutes from Pézenas and Lac des Olivettes. The village of Fontès has basic shops (bakery, butcher, restaurants, etc.). The village is located between vineyards and scrubland (garrigue). Many hikes and walks are accessible directly from the house.
This single-storey villa has a large terrace and a large garden of about 700 m², not overlooked.
There is a large living/dining room of 42m2, a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with 1 bed 160×200, two bedrooms with 2 beds 90×200, a large bathroom (bath, shower and toilet), and a separate toilet.
Cot and baby seat are available.
Everything is included in the price.
Beds are made upon arrival, bathroom linen is provided and end-of-stay cleaning is included.

The interior atmosphere is very cookooning. Beautiful living space, nothing is missing to feel good. Even in the kitchen, everything is well thought out.
You feel at home from the first second.
We had a great holiday and will definitely be back.

Yes, it's a shame that there are so many people at Cap d'Agde in summer. The black beach of Grande Conque is however magnificent.
We usually go to La Tamarissière. Much quieter, leaning against a pine forest, and even closer to the house.

Oui, c'est dommage qu'il y ait autant de monde, au Cap d'Agde en été. La plage noire de la Grande Conque est pourtant magnifique.
Nous allons habituellement à la Tamarissière. Beaucoup plus calme, adossée à une pinède, et encore plus proche de la maison.

The rental is well equipped. The pool is large and is definitely a plus.
The picnic table under the pine tree was very pleasantly appreciated.
During periods of (very) strong heat, air conditioning in the bedroom with double bed (the hottest) may be desirable.

Part of the name "Pignes et Lucques " comes from pine which provides shade at midday. The other part comes from the olive tree on the terrace side which produces the typical olives of the Hérault: the lucques.

The sea is half an hour and Lake Salagou. In summer, there is also a swimming pool in the garden to cool off. You can have lunch and dinner on the terrace / in the garden, there is even a petanque court next to the house.
The village of Fontès has a lot of charm, with its vineyards all around, and the mid-mountain for walks in the mid-season not far away. Good wines can be bought in the area, and local products such as olive oil and homemade jams can be bought at the neighbor's house.
We had a great holiday, we highly recommend this house.

Comfortable stay with ventilation of the rooms and big swimming pool, to support the strong heat suffered in France this summer 2019.
Ideal location at the entrance of an authentic village, in a region rich in tourist attractions (walks, visits ...)

The area is really pretty with postcard landscapes, we had a great stay with no wrong rating.
All the comforts were present in this villa with a nice simple and clean decor.
We will keep some beautiful memories.
