Truly everything within the description of the house and its content was met. We had a lovely vacation. The domain is beautiful, the pool is perfect. The owners of the house are very nice people, very friendly, always committed that everything is at your comfort. Thank you again Pierre & Marie for the nice talks, the mutual respect and your guidance towards markets/ towns, shops etc.
If you are bringing young children; take the opportunity to visit 'La ferme aux crocodiles' the crocodile farm at Pierrelatte. It is a great activity and we were all impressed by the size of the place and the amount of animals.
Overall a BIG 5 stars, we hope to return in the future.

We had a great week with nice weather. Need a decent car to get to the location. Nice swimming pool. Living outdoor/ close to nature, quiet, private and relaxing time. No dishwasher, good wifi connection. Friendly house owners also speaking English as well. Close to Aix en Provence, Pertuis (supermarket) and lovely villages and markets like Lourmarin, Cucuron, Gordes.. Thanks for the unforgettable experience
The house is situated in a quiet and peaceful country lane near the village of Rognonas, a few miles from Avignon. It is well built with thick walls that keep it cool in hot weather. The garden is pleasant with a large ancient tree for shade and a patio with a canopy. The interior is furnished to a high standard, with an on-suite bathroom in one bedroom, another large bedroom and a smaller bedroom with a pull-out bed. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. I recommend the house as a comfortable base for a holiday in Provence. It is about 1km from the main road to Avignon, where there is a park and ride carpark and to Arles and the Mediterranean coast. The owner, Herve, and his wife were friendly and helpful, giving us ideas for places to visit. The address was difficult to find at first, so I recommend getting directions or locating it on Google Maps before setting off there.
We spent an unforgettable week in this fantastic Villa in mid July. The house is spacious, clean, equipped with all you need and has a special charm to it - it felt very homey and comfortable. The views from the house and the few terraces it offers are simply amazing. The pool is great, has a good size and the views it holds are unbeatable. The location is great, the town of St. Cezaire is beautiful, slightly away from the main tourist tracks which gives it this special, authentic feel. We simply enjoyed everything about this place. There are great walking routes possibilities, e.g. down to the valley and the river Siagne and the Pont des Tuves, which was extremely pretty. Communication with our hosts was top notch. We received many good tips, information about the local attractions, things to see and visit - everything worked perfectly. We're definitely looking forward to getting back and would highly recommend the property to anyone, whether you're a couple or a family with kids.
This was a lovely property and the owner was very welcoming, everything was very clean, shops and bus stop a 5/10 min walk - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
The house is very spacious and there was plenty of room for our party (6 adults and 5 teenagers) - a bathroom for every bedroom was perfect! Very well equipped kitchen and the house stayed nice and cool inside on a hot day.
Outside space is amazing! Expansive gardens, beautiful pool and comfortable seating areas for outside dining.
We had a lovely relaxing holiday with enough room to be together while still having our own space. Would recommend!
We had a wonderful time at Marie & Olivier's wonderful Gite.
The position of the Gite is stunning. It could not be better positioned.. The views (you can see for miles) are second to none. The sunsets are breathtaking. The stars at night also awe inspiring.
We were 2 families with 4 children (all 5 years old and under). The pool is AMAZING and kept clean throughout the week by Olivier and his team. The pool is also securely fenced off so the children are safe. There is a sandpit - swings etc for the children too. Figs grow everywhere...it's heaven.
We had a fabulous time - the Gite has everything we needed (we didn't even switch on the TV). The hot water never ran out...the kitchen well equipped. It's rustic as we expected - but in a charming way and everything worked perfectly;
Its the ideal place to relax - enjoy the pool - see the local area. We will be back - it's a great family holiday.

Lovely rustic farmhouse with modern comforts, loads of hot water, no Wi-Fi but that was a blessing. Views are stunning, pool area very nice, huge garden. House is extremely well equipped. We were a group of 8 but there would easily be room for 10 or more. The location is stunning although not within walking distance to a bar or boulangerie - nearest is in St Dier, around 5k - an easy cycle. We liked the house and the area very much - it is unspoiled and not very touristy at all - recommended if you like peace and quiet, the countryside and activities such as cycling, canoeing, stand up paddle, horse riding all of which are within 30 minutes drive. The owners, M and Mme Audy are lovely.
We chose this gite because of the swimming pool and three bedrooms. It really fulfilled all our expectations. All rooms were very spacious and clean. The kitchen is well equipped with all necessities. Decoration style with local accents. Modern flat screen TV with HDMI connection so we could go on internet to watch Tv series. Internet connection can be better but owners realize this.
We stayed here two weeks with 2 adolescent children (each their own bedroom), they loved the swimming pool. Ideal to swim, to rest or to play. The big garden is a plus to the house.
The gite is upstairs with the owners living downstairs. They were discrete and caring. They give us some advice for things in the neighborhood.

The property more than fulfilled its promise. The owner was extremely attentive and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble.
The house was well-equipped, spacious, clean and suited our family's needs exactly.
The garden area was ideal for outdoor meals and for our Grandson, who really enjoyed himself, particularly when the owner's Grandson came to visit.
A really relaxing stay in a superb property. We look forward to visiting again.

We Just returned from our stay in jeanquet. The views are amazing and the cottages lovely. Basic furnuture. The double beds are great and some of the single beds to. Use the sofabed for no more than a single night.
With great weather this is a very pleasant house, iT keeps very cool. For the evenings you could use a heather, make sure you ask for one. The pool is amazing and big, the ownership very friendly. Keep in mind that the mobile network doesn't always work properly.
Showers could use an update, but the great garden and the tranquility makes up for that.

A well equipped house on the edge of the village. Nice pool and good accommodation. Local housekeeper is helpful but not intrusive. Good base for visiting the Eastern Dordogne. Village has all essentials (10 main walks) plus canoe hire and bike hire. Quiet rural location about 20 mins from motorway.
House Sarlat 4 to 6 people Rental Saint-Julien-de-Lampon, to approx. 9.3 mi from Sarlat - Dordogne - Aquitaine
The property was exactly as we had hoped from both the advertisement and from our correspondence with the owner. Our family of 7 adults enjoyed a wonderful week in a very beautiful and relaxing environment. The house was simple but with everything we needed and the relaxed spacious living areas and rooms suited us perfectly. The surrounding fields and woods were idyllic - great for walks and exploration and stunningly beautiful. Located near Sarlat, it was a perfect jumping off point for visits in the region, but equally a wonderful place to spend a quiet day - by the pool, reading, chatting over a meal, or walking. Mr Van Roy was a perfect host - welcoming, friendly, helpful and accommodating of my poor French, but never obtrusive. And we all loved Baloo the dog!
Excellent property set in a rural position next to a river. Extremely friendly and helpful owners who went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic holiday, even though they do not speak much English (very little in fact!!). Stairs up to the bedrooms are quite steep for young children or old people but no problem for anyone else.
There are bikes and a small boat at the property which the owners will let you use (subject to experience) and there are shops withing a 20 minute walk, 5 minute bike ride or 5 mins in a car.
The people here are very friendly and our 13 daughter who speaks no french soon made friends with the locals and was quite happy riding up and down the road outside the house - which is a dead end road with virtualy no traffic.
Best of all this property is only 30 minutes from Calais but because of the watery area it could be a million miles away - it is like a version of the Norfolk Broads - but in minature!
Certainly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful holiday who likes water and rural french life.

We were very satisfied and surprised by the absolute comfort of this cozy and tastefully furnished old house with its own garden. Francoise is a great host with all the extras in the kitchen and the brioche to welcome us. Our dog also felt very comfortable. We were able to take a lovely walk to the banks of the Seine in about 15 minutes and the bakery and butcher are also nearby. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Wir waren sehr zufrieden und auch überrascht über diesen absoluten Komfort dieses gemütlichen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten alten Hause mit eigenem Garten. Francoise ist eine super Gastgeberin mit all den Extras in der Küche und de r Brioche zum Empfang. Auch unser Hund hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt .Wir konnten in ca 15 min einen schönen Spaziergang zum Ufer der Seine machen und auch der Bäcker und Metzger sind in der Nähe. Vielen Dank für einen schönen Aufenthalt.
