Home was above the advertisement. Lovely people who are ready to help. We needed a beerkeg every other day so we where supplied good. Lovely outdoorkitchen with nice big table. Enough of every kind of cutlery dishes and a dishwasher. Heaven. 10/10 would recommend and go again. Take care nick and cat.
We were really lucky to find this place! It is like finding a home in the middle of Marseille., we are back in Berlin and still overfilled with our great impressions of Marseille and our great time in Brigitte's place.. Brigitte is more than kind, the apartment is perfect, with the3 rooms, the wonderful garden and terrace and lots of books and great art. You can reach the port by foot and Brigitte is very helpful in giving great tips. Thank you again Brigitte - we will come back!

The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities one needs in a vacation home (fully equipped kitchen, washing machine etc.), and the pool was extremely popular with the kids (and adults).
The house is located at a lovely small town in the middle of Provence and in walking distance to a bakery, pharmacy, grocery stores, restaurants etc.
Mr. and Mrs. G. were excellent hosts, and did everything they could to make our stay as pleasant as possible (recommended sights nearby, gave us fruits from the garden, and even bought us a fan during a heat wave).
It was lovely property, well kept and clean when we were given the keys. Everything were as described and all that we could have asked for. Guilhem even went so far as to get us a new kettle for tea-making (there was a coffee-machine there but we are not big coffee drinkers). The pool was clean and well maintain - it was the big attraction for renting the property and it did not disappoint. The kids spent nearly everyday in the pool and had a whale of a time.
If there is anything to criticise, it would be the lack of air-con. It was very hot there and during August was unbearable for us. There were fans provided (one for each bedroom but the air itself is too hot so all it did was blowing it around without really able to cool things down). This is worse at night as there were also a lot of mosquito - which necessitated keeping the window closed. We are not used to this temperature so it was not pleasant but it is the only thing I found wanting although I appreciate that if you live there permanently you would be used to this temperature so no air-con is not unusual.
Guilhem and his wife were very nice people when we met them and so was his friend (who saw us off when we checked out).
All in all a very enjoyable experience and one we would not hesitate to recommend to others. Would we come back again? Absolutely - if we can get air-con or the weather wasn't so hot.
Great location - a minute walk from the lake and 5 minutes walk to the old town. Very comfortable accommodation and everything you need for your stay. Supermarket in walking distance - 10 minutes.
Parking fees have been introduced so there is a slight extra cost if you have a car but it was 7 Euro per day and free Sunday. There are a few free parking spaces in the next road but there was an event on by the lake so it was closed off for a few days. However it is easy to pay with an app and I paid the night before if we didn't want to head out before 9 a.m.
Lovely area and the apartment was a good base for us.
Excellent location in old part of Annecy, with running water right below the windows. Requires climbing two flights of stairs. No A/C, but none was needed during our stay. Outside noise was not a problem even though this is a heavily tourist and nightlife district. Ample restaurants within walking distance. Public parking garage available about a six minute walk away. A five day parking fee cost 45 euros. No free parking anywhere near except from 7PM to 9AM and except Sundays. Seven minute walk to the lake, but no view of it from the apartment. There were two bedrooms, but we only used one and the bed quality was good. The owner was very accommodating.
This apartment is really modern and has everything you need, including a big refrigerator with freezing, nice kitchen, nice and modern bathroom and a very comfortable bed!
The location is also great, only about 10 min walk from the centre and a supermarket within 5 min walk.
Only little downsides were that there's a floor above the apartment. The building is very old, do you can here every step the neighbours from above take. We weren't much in the apartment and only noticed it in the evening but never later then about 23.00-23.30.
Also the neighbours around tend to sit outside and sing and joke a lot, but also never later then 23.30 or so. Besides that they were really friendly.
These are minor things compared to how we enjoyed our stay. You can also park for free in the street or very nearby.
Would really recommend this apartment to others and the owner is also very friendly!
I would highly recommend this property, absolutely brilliant, really well furnished as a home rather than a holiday apartment. It is in a quiet, safe area with some lovely walks directly in front of the apartment along the Seine river front. An easy walk into the town with all the amenities close to hand.
The apartment is great for a couple with a really comfortable bed and a super large shower, there is a large fridge/freezer, full cooker, microwave, washer and a full size French television in fact all the conveniences of home. If you are not into French TV then they have a DVD player so bring some English DVD'S with you and perhaps a CD player if you want your own music.
The family who rent this property are charming, helpful and knowledgable, they speak English which helps enormously.
You can rent this property with confidence that you will have a great vacation. Bonnes vacances!
The lovely apartment is more like a house. It is very spacious with separate kitchen, dining and living rooms and well as three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The kitchen is well fitted out with a good size fridge and a good stove and microwave.
Ribeauville itself is a charming town with plenty of choice for self catering as well as restaurants. It is also centrally located for discovering the Alsace area. Free parking was not a problem..
Hosts Nadje and Guy were wonderful. They collected us from Colmar when we arrived dead tired after a 30-hour flight and took us in again next day to collect the car. We invited them to dinner one night to get tot know them better and to show our appreciation for how well they treated us.
This apartment was extremely good value and you are guaranteed that you will be well looked after by Nadje and Guy.
Apartment very well located, close to shops and transport. Well equipped, nothing is missing, and spacious. The neighborhood is lively and lively but the building is very quiet. Communication with the owner was very smooth. I will come back with pleasure and will not hesitate to recommend it

Very pleasant stay. The owners are ultimately welcoming and discreet who take care of their guests. Thanks again for the cold drink and its accompanying Basque cake for the road. Very clean and very well equipped apartment, nothing is missing. Thanks to Marie Jo for the walk in Hendaye and Spain to introduce us to certain places.
