Very well equipped apartment in a prime location with a great view.
The apartment was clean (we only had to wash some dishes that were not perfectly cleaned in the dish washer). The landlord was extremely friendly and answered all inquiries immediately. We were very happy with this apartment.
The house is near to the sea, near to restaurants, supermarket.. and to the cliffs of Etretat, thats great :-)
Its a small house, but you have everything you need.
We ( a family with 3 children ) had wonderful holidays and the contact to Mister Nowac was very nice too.
The Sunset Chalet was simply espectacular! Everything was new and placed with incredible care, even the tiniest detail. The rooms were very comfortable, specially the main one, with a state of the art bathroom. I barely have words to appreciate the warm welcome and support from Eliane and Francis, who where there to make our life absolutely comfortable during our stay. And there is no doubt of the reason of the name of the Chalet. You can enjoy an incredible view of the sunset from its wonderful garden!
My family and I had an amazing experience visiting Normandy with the Sunset Chalet as a base.
When we arrived the owners were there. They told us all about the house (about technical matters and where things that were) and they are very friendly. There was cider and cookies as a welcome!
Everything you need or what you think you need 😏 was in and around the house!
Very clean, very nicely decorated and for the parents had their en suite bedroom with their own bathroom.
All the beds were made-up, and there are towels. And you can wash the towels and your own clothes and dry them in the dryer.
So you can go back home with clean clothes, etc.
It's quiet and so very good to relax.
The sea is near the house (we can get there by car in 5 min) with very nice rocks.
It rained quite often so we could only sit outside for 1 day .....it's very nice and has a big garden and a bbq and sun loungers .
Maybe we'll come back another year....
Three years without Normandy, without the sea..... what horror! The happiness of being back is all the greater. This time, the grandparents with their two granddaughters. For the first time in autumn, with a lot of new impressions, new experiences. We will have the memory of watching the rain fall from the indoor swimming pool, "dry", as if it wanted to wash away the whole world. Still, we were lucky with the weather. When we stayed outside longer, we were always able to do it without an umbrella. We enjoyed the sea in all its variations: from calm to agitation, in all its nuances, always full of elemental force. And always the rest point in the middle, the SUNSET chalet. Comfortable, warm, cozy, complete as usual. Thank you to our attentive and friendly hosts for this little gem.

Das Meer genossen wir in allen Variationen: von ruhig bis bewegt, in allen Schattierungen, immer voller elementarer Kraft. And Immerse yourself in the middle of Chalet SUNSET. Trois ans sans la Normandie, sans la mer ..... quelle horreur !
Le bonheur d'être de retour est d'autant plus grand. Cette fois-ci, les grands-parents avec leurs deux petites-filles.
Pour la première fois en automne, avec beaucoup de nouvelles impressions, de nouvelles expériences. Il nous restera le souvenir d'avoir regardé la pluie tomber depuis la piscine couverte, au "sec", comme si elle voulait emporter le monde entier.
Malgré tout, nous avons eu de la chance avec le temps. Lorsque nous sommes restés plus longtemps à l'extérieur, nous avons toujours pu le faire sans parapluie.
Nous avons apprécié la mer dans toutes ses variations : du calme à l'agitation, dans toutes ses nuances, toujours pleine de force élémentaire.
Et toujours le point de repos au milieu, le chalet SUNSET. Confortable, chaud, douillet, complet comme d'habitude. Merci à nos hôtes attentionnés et sympathiques pour ce petit bijou.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner of the gîte who gave us good addresses in Etretat. The cottage, very comfortable and very well equipped, is less than half an hour's walk from the center of Etretat via a pleasant little road. The environment of the accommodation is very nicely landscaped. We had a very pleasant stay there. We recommend this accommodation
Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par la propriétaire du gîte qui nous a indiqué les bonnes adresses d'Etretat..
Le gîte, très confortable et très bien équipé, est à moins d'un demi-heure à pied du centre d'Etretat par une petite route agréable. L'environnement du logement est très joliment paysagé.
Nous y avons passé un très agréable séjour.

The apartment corresponded to our ideas and the advertisement. The landlord was very reliable and accommodating. We got the deposit back immediately. Etretat is a beautiful place. The house was in the middle of town, 2 minutes walk from the beach. There were a lot of tourists on the way every day, but we didn't notice anything in the area. There was a supermarket opposite. Where we had to get used to it was with parking. A paid parking lot was about 15 minutes walk away. A free parking lot about 25 minutes walk. But we got used to it. That wasn't a problem then. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to the landlord!
Die Wohnung entsprach unseren Vorstellung und der Anzeige. Der Vermieter war sehr zuverlässig und zuvorkommend. Die Kaution haben wir sofort zurück bekommen. Etretat ist ein wunderschöner Ort. Das Ferienhaus lag mitten im Ort, 2Gehminuten vom Strand entfernt. Touristen waren täglich sehr viele Unterwegs, aber wir haben in der Anlage davon nichts mitbekommen. Ein Supermarkt gab es gegenüber. Wo wir uns daran gewöhnen mussten, war das Parken. Ein kostenpflichtiger Parkplatz ca. 15 Gehminuten war entfernt. Ein Kostenfreier Parkplatz ca. 25.Gehminuten. Aber wir haben uns daran gewöhnt. Das war dann kein Problem. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Danke an den Vermieter!
The apartment is in a great location - the beach and supermarket can be reached in two minutes. The house itself is very charming. The apartment is comfortably furnished, so staying indoors a lot during a rainy day was not a problem. Everything you need is there. The landlord was always available and very friendly and the lady on site was very helpful and nice. We had a really great time in Etretat and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Die Ferienwohnung ist super gelegen - Strand und Supermarkt sind in zwei Minuten zu erreichen. Das Haus an sich ist sehr charmant. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet, so dass es kein Problem war, sich während eines Regentages viel drinnen aufzuhalten. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Der Vermieter war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich und die Dame vor Ort sehr hilfsbereit und nett. Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit in Etretat und haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung rundum genossen. Vielen Dank!
The accommodation was excellent! It was very original and restored to a very high standard. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend the accommodation for two people. Our two australian shepherds were also warmly welcomed. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Très bon séjour et appartement, propre, fonctionnel, chaleureux et très bien situé. Par contre essayer de prévoir un emplacement voiture inclus dans la location serait pas mal.

The pigeon house is even more charming than in the photos. Everything is very well thought out and lovingly designed in detail. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is small but nice and the bed has a good mattress. The private terrace is protected from view and wind and is framed by roses. The two landlords Veronique and Stephan are very friendly and helpful, have good tips and overcome any language barrier. We had a wonderful time here and would love to come back. We can recommend this accommodation to all lovebirds.
Das Taubenhäuschen ist noch viel charmanter als auf den Fotos. Alles ist sehr durchdacht und im Detail liebevoll gestaltet. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet, das Bad ist klein, aber fein und das Bett hat eine gute Matratze. Die eigene Terrasse ist sicht- und windgeschützt und von Rosen eingerahmt. Die beiden Vermieter Veronique und Stephan sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben guten Tips und überwinden jede Sprachbarriere. Wir hatten hier eine wunderschöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder. Wir können diese Unterkunft allen Turteltauben empfehlen.
We had a wonderful time in Vattetot-sur-Mer.The house and garden are magical, full of charm and flair. The equipment leaves nothing to be desired, we enjoyed every day there. The place is picturesque and the location is ideal for guests who appreciate nature and tranquility while enjoying coastal highlights such as the Étretat cliffs. Christine is a perfect hostess and was always available for us.
Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in Vattetot-sur-Mer.Das Haus und der Garten sind zauberhaft, voller Charme und Flair. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, wir haben jeden Tag dort genossen. Der Ort ist pittoresk und die Lage ist ideal geeignet für Gäste, die die Natur und die Ruhe schätzen und gleichzeitig die Highlights der Küste wie die Klippen von Étretat erleben möchten. Christine ist eine perfekte Gastgeberin und war immer gut für uns erreichbar.

Excellent stay in this cottage with a certain charm and ideally located. We went on foot to Étretat via the path on the cliffs, a precious memory. The garden of this house is superb, the fire in the chimney appreciated even near the summer. We are happy with this stay that we recommend.

A well-equipped accommodation, on 2 levels, which combines the charm of the old with modern comfort, and above all a breathtaking view of the sea and the cliffs: a dream location! The whole city is accessible on foot (shopping, museums ..., the promenade on the beach in front of the house. 7 adults can stay there without any problem. (and we didn't use the sofa in the second living room). Only downside: the very random internet connection, the intermittent TV. Natalie is very available and answers the phone in any case. Thanks to her!
Un logement bien équipé, sur 2 niveaux, qui allie le charme de l'ancien au confort moderne, et surtout une vue époustouflante sur la mer et les falaises : un lieu de rêve ! Toute la ville est accessible à pied (courses, musées ..., la promenade sur la plage devant la maison.
7 personnes adultes peuvent y séjourner sans problème. (et nous n'avons pas utilisé le canapé du second salon). Seul bémol : la connexion internet très aléatoire, la TV intermittente.

Chalet Sunset is aptly named. The sunsets are magnificent. The rental is in accordance with the announcement. The welcome of the owners is more than warm. Nothing is missing in this rental. La location est conforme à l'annonce. L'accueil des propriétaires est plus que chaleureux.
Rien ne manque dans cette location. On s'y sent bien, au calme, dans la nature, près de la mer et des Petites Dalles. Il fait bon s'y ressourcer.
Eliane et Francis sont toujours de bon conseil pour les visites.
