Home was above the advertisement. Lovely people who are ready to help. We needed a beerkeg every other day so we where supplied good. Lovely outdoorkitchen with nice big table. Enough of every kind of cutlery dishes and a dishwasher. Heaven. 10/10 would recommend and go again. Take care nick and cat.
Very good Chalet, we rented the house during the winter and due to the recent snowfall we were able to ski from the house to the ski lift (and even from the piste to the house, though this requires a fairly substantial descend off-piste). The owners were responsive in their communication and were able to offer us a discount on our skipasses. Overall we had a very nice stay!
We had a great weekend in this villa. Enough space for the 9 of us, good equipment in the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and the location is superb. Contact with owners very good! We loved our stay here!
We had a great week in the villa. Roll down shutters, airco, pool, table tennis, 2 kitchens, bbq, close to the sea, stunning views,... this villa has it all.
However when we arrived we felt the house didn't smell fresh in some rooms, it was very hot and the apartment downstairs felt like it hadn't been used for a while. Because there was no airco in the app (it is written, so we knew) it's difficult to sleep there because of the heat.
All in all after staying there for a week we felt very pleased . I recommend this house.
We really had a great vacation in this house. Unique is the great sea view that you can enjoy from the upper terrace as well as from the lower terrace and the pool. The rooms are lovingly and tastefully decorated - we felt very comfortable! The small village "les Issambres" is also very nice and you can find everything you need there. The contact with the owners was always very nice and helpful. Also Claire, who welcomes you on site is very sympathetic and you can contact her (or the owners) at any time with questions. We are very happy to come back!
Every now and then you get lucky and find an amazing home-from-home rental accommodation. Trust me, this is one of those 5* gems! Where do I start?
Clearly Marc & Patricia have put an enormous amount of thought and effort into making this chalet a home with everything you could possibly want. I believe this chalet was recently renovated during 2021 and so everything feels new.
The kitchen is truly well equipped…plenty of large and small plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses (both wine glasses and flutes, tumblers and pint glasses), mugs, cups, cooking utensils, pots and pans, to cater for ‘WELL OVER’ 12 people (we were 8, so plenty to spare). There is a dishwasher and also both a Fondue and Raclette set for those adventurous cooks, oh….and a sandwich toaster. Also provided is a Nespresso machine…we took our coffee pods but I believe you can buy pods in Tignes Le Lac if you forget to take your own. Our favourite kitchen device however was the table top ice maker…. perfect for that G&T after a hard day on the slopes!
The chalet has 4 large bedrooms all with en-suite with plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable. Three of the bedrooms have additional beds - two of those bedrooms having slightly smaller mattresses large enough for say a 13/14 year old depending on their height.
The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and a huge dining table overlooking the enormous outside terrace and the beautiful views across the lake to Val Claret and the mountain beyond. The lounge has an open fire and plenty of wood to burn is supplied. The lounge also has a Bluetooth speaker to connect your own devices to (we hard wired our mobile phones as we couldn’t figure out the Bluetooth connection after a few glasses of wine!! Likely it was the wine which affected our senses than the speaker itself, so I’m sure anyone that’s tech savvy would be able to figure it out and if not, Marc is always available to help!). The lounge is also equipped with a smart TV and DVD and also has the ability to connect up a laptop.
The outside terrace is huge and we were lucky enough to bask in glorious sunshine for 4 days out of the 6 when we returned from the slopes. There is an outside BBQ (gas I think) and Wood Burner that unfortunately we didn’t get to try, but great as an option should you wish to use them.
There is plenty of WIFI throughout the chalet and not once did anyone moan about poor connectivity….not even when all 8 of us were on our devices!!
The chalet has it’s own private cinema room and sauna (for use solely by the occupants of this chalet…i.e. not shared with anyone) – additional towels are provided for the sauna. The cinema room has great surround-sound and you can connect to pretty much anything…Apple TV, Netflix, Prime, Disney, your own laptop and there are plenty of DVDs to choose from in the chalet should you not want to bring your own.
The chalet has its own private (not shared) boot warmer and ski rack, enough for at least 12 sets, conveniently positioned inside the chalet by the front door.
The owners Marc and Patricia are extremely welcoming and friendly. They are very close by should you need anything. Should you arrive in Tignes early before check-in or leave Tignes later after check-out, they will try and be as flexible as possible but if it’s not possible you can safely store your luggage in Marc and Patricia’s locked garage and head into town.
The walk into town where the ski schools meet takes no more than 5 minutes. Here you’ll also find a great supermarket with plenty of choice as well as plenty of restaurants nearby (I suggest you book 3-4 days in advance in peak season).

Great house, everything was available what we could wish for. Just a few minutes walking to the lifts, apres ski, supermarkets and restaurants. Super friendly staff who can recommend a great amount of apres ski places and restaurants, which were really good.
Communication was slow from time to time, however as I have understood this was because of personal circumstances, which is very understandable.
In short, we had a great time and can greatly recommend this house!
Excellent villa!! We had an incredibly good time there. The villa is very comfortable and sparkling clean. It has all the needed amenities. It has a nice swimming pool and a beautiful terrace with an amazing sea view where you can sunbathe, take a cup of coffee, or take your meals. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. There are small shops/delis nearby and the beach is walking distance. Thank you, Nathalie and Jean Michel, for your warm welcoming. Hope to stay there again soon! I highly recommend it!!
We rented it for one week at the beginning of August. The owners paid a particular attention to hygiene due to covid19m which is really appreciated. We were two families with in total 3 children and another family would easily fit the house.
The house was very spacious, very bright and modernly designed. Everything has been thought to make the families with children comfortable. It is close to sea-side 5-10 min; and a super market 10-15 min walking. There are couple of places to eat around and a close by patisserie. The city is very quite and nice and gives you the feeling of a relaxing family holiday atmosphere. It is easy to go to next village, which has more restaurants, by bike or walking.
Owners were very helpful and nice with everything we asked before and at the arrival. They provided a lot of useful info on what to do where in and around Ambleteuse. We also had a very good and positive exchange at our departure and smooth processing of all payments and other arrangements.
I would highly recommend this place.
It is a perfect villa! Clean, enough space, a lovely swimming pool, everything you should need was in the house and near the center of Roses. We had a great holiday!
The villa is located in a quiet area with a very beautiful sea view. The property has everything you need for a nice relaxation (pool, table tennis, terrace with sea view, barbecue, etc.).
There is a pub and a small shop within a five minute to walk.
The villa owner is very helpful, which makes living in his property very pleasant.
We spent a wonderful week at this house. It is an excellent rental: exceptionally well constructed, well furnished and well equipped. It is one of the very best holiday rentals we have found during a long history of renting. It is in a lovely situation with views out to sea and over the cliffs to the south of Bréhec. It is close to the port (with two very welcoming restaurants) although making the journey on foot involves a steep descent and return.
The house was exactly as advertised and the owner provided helpful support and advice throughout (there is also a very helpful guide to the house and the area in the villa itself). The garden is also a pleasure, including the fruit trees.
The owner has a local representative who provided all the support that we needed - and we appreciated the welcoming delicacies that greeted our arrival
Although there are no shops in Bréhec itself, there is a bakery and pharmacy in the nearest town (Plouezec) and more shops and a substantial (Wednesday) market at Plouha.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Andrano. Big clean, and Luigi and Lucilla were so nice to us. It was close to the sea, and some bars and restaurants. Would absolutely recommend this house!
Our stay at this lovely Barfleur home was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for our family of seven to sleep comfortably. The home was very clean and well stocked with all the supplies that we needed, and was situated across from the beautiful harbour and just down the street from the town, which had several wonderful restaurants and shops. Valerie was extremely helpful in setting up our stay and making sure that we were greeted upon arrival on our first day. The best part for us was the serenity of the location! Our stay was quiet and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city life that we normally live. We enjoyed putting together a jigsaw puzzle, walking along the harbour, and eating in the local restaurants, which were delicious. The home was absolutely charming and impeccably kept up. We will definitely stay there again when we return to France. The only issue for us was the distance from the American Cemetery in Colville-Sur-Mer. We were not prepared for the long drive, but at this time of year, it’s difficult to find any accommodations in Normandy so we were grateful to have a place to stay which was able to accommodate our large family. Having found Barfleur, we now see it’s charm and would definitely stay there again. One other note: this property is not set up for anyone with disabilities other than on the first floor. There is a bedroom on the first floor and a bathroom on the first floor but otherwise all of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the second and third floors with no lift. Thank you Valerie for making our stay such a pleasant one and for welcoming us to the lovely Barfleur home!
The house is very spacious and there was plenty of room for our party (6 adults and 5 teenagers) - a bathroom for every bedroom was perfect! Very well equipped kitchen and the house stayed nice and cool inside on a hot day.
Outside space is amazing! Expansive gardens, beautiful pool and comfortable seating areas for outside dining.
We had a lovely relaxing holiday with enough room to be together while still having our own space. Would recommend!
We spent a lovely week in Montgenevre with friends skiing. Four of us stayed in this apartment. It was even better than described and was very well equipped. The owner met us on arrival and was so welcoming and helpful. He even left us a fruit tart and box of chocolates, so kind. The location of the apartment was brilliant. Slopes were only about 50-70 metres away , supermarket was next door and plenty of restaurants nearby. Perfect! Would definitely recommend.
The property is very clean and organised. The pool was great and clean. Close to Lisbon and the branches with Uber are 5-10 minutes drive against minimum costs. The owners were very nice, available and very customer friendly. I dearly recommend this property to families. I can assure you will have a great time!!!
We had a wonderful time at Marie & Olivier's wonderful Gite.
The position of the Gite is stunning. It could not be better positioned.. The views (you can see for miles) are second to none. The sunsets are breathtaking. The stars at night also awe inspiring.
We were 2 families with 4 children (all 5 years old and under). The pool is AMAZING and kept clean throughout the week by Olivier and his team. The pool is also securely fenced off so the children are safe. There is a sandpit - swings etc for the children too. Figs grow everywhere...it's heaven.
We had a fabulous time - the Gite has everything we needed (we didn't even switch on the TV). The hot water never ran out...the kitchen well equipped. It's rustic as we expected - but in a charming way and everything worked perfectly;
Its the ideal place to relax - enjoy the pool - see the local area. We will be back - it's a great family holiday.
