We had a great weekend in this villa. Enough space for the 9 of us, good equipment in the kitchen, 2 bathrooms and the location is superb. Contact with owners very good! We loved our stay here!
We rented it for one week at the beginning of August. The owners paid a particular attention to hygiene due to covid19m which is really appreciated. We were two families with in total 3 children and another family would easily fit the house.
The house was very spacious, very bright and modernly designed. Everything has been thought to make the families with children comfortable. It is close to sea-side 5-10 min; and a super market 10-15 min walking. There are couple of places to eat around and a close by patisserie. The city is very quite and nice and gives you the feeling of a relaxing family holiday atmosphere. It is easy to go to next village, which has more restaurants, by bike or walking.
Owners were very helpful and nice with everything we asked before and at the arrival. They provided a lot of useful info on what to do where in and around Ambleteuse. We also had a very good and positive exchange at our departure and smooth processing of all payments and other arrangements.
I would highly recommend this place.
Excellent position for the beach and the town . A really good venue for children. Well equipped and very comfortable. Would recommend it for a true beach holiday. It also had a good garden for the children to play in. Overall a very good holiday home.
Nice house in the middle of nowhere but at 5 min from the beach or shopping malls!
The house has everything you need with quality beds, clean bathrooms and a well equipt kitchen!
We chose this apartment because we were let down on an earlier booking, but we were so pleased! On entering the building and indeed when first going into the apartment, it feels very utilitarian and bare but don't be put off! The apartment is so close to the beach and its biggest plus is the huge balcony which catches the sun for most of the day.
The apartment is very well equipped with plenty of glasses and crockery and everything you might need in the kitchen - except maybe a kettle. There are plenty of chairs inside and out. The beds are comfy and we all slept well. The 'cabine' with the bunkbeds is in a section of hallway near one of the bedrooms but cosier than it sounds and my 12 yr old son was very happy with it.
We loved the town of Fort Mahon Plage, plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops, plus a good boulangerie. The restaurants were not cheap but the food was of a high quality.
The beach is Fort Mahon's biggest attraction - a long, wide and very sandy beach with plenty of space and the sea was warm too.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment, and would happily visit again in the future. One tip - email the owner in French for a prompt and helpful reply.
We have passed a great time in the Beach House.
The house is provided of everything, especially for little children:
chair, toys, little bikes and so much more.
Our little son of two years old enjoyed the playtable at his lovely room.
And our daughter of 7 years felt her like a little princess in her rose sleeping room.
The house is very kindfriendly, comfortable and clean.

Location was great - we had a great holiday helped by wonderful weather. View from the flat over the beach is wonderful.
Property needs a little attention: bunk bed very creaky - top bunk not really useable and sofa cover needs replacing. Surprising lack of many basic kitchen utensils.
I feel the advert should state that it is a second floor flat accessed only by a steep staircase.
The house is in a wonderful location - under the Cap Gris Nez - you can always look out over the water. And it is also in a beautiful location. All the places between the capes can be reached quickly by car, and if you like hiking, you will be staying right on the coastal hiking trail. The house is ideal for 10 people. There was enough space for everyone. We say thank you!
Das Haus liegt ganz wunderbar gelegen - unter dem Cap Gris Nez - man kann immer schön aufs Wasser schauen. Und hat auch sonst eine schöne Lage. Alle Orte zwischen den Caps sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen, und, wer gerne wandert, hier wohnt man direkt am Küstenwanderweg. Das Haus ist super geeignet für 10 Personen. Es gab genug Platz für alle.

Accommodation conforms to the description: superb view of the dunes at the northern end of Hardelot, and, to the side, of the sea. Prime location for tranquility, and direct access to the sea and walks; but the center is not far away even on foot: we were able to take many walks. Rental in February: the house was heated before our arrival, which was much appreciated! The house is well insulated, resulting in moderate electricity consumption despite the season. The rooms are spacious and can accommodate a family, even an extended one. The bedding is of very good quality. Very well equipped kitchen. Abundant documentation to find out everything about your stay: everything is planned to meet your slightest desire. Very attentive owner, attentive: we forgot some things and he pointed it out to us! Yes, we too will come back, because we felt at home and we still have other walks to experience.
Logement conforme à la description : vue superbe sur les dunes de l’extrémité nord d’Hardelot, et, de côté, sur la mer. Emplacement de choix pour la tranquillité, et l’accès direct à la mer, aux promenades ; mais le centre n’est pas loin même à pied : nous avons pu faire de nombreuses balades.
Location en février : la maison a été mise en chauffe préalablement à notre arrivée, ce qui a été bien apprécié ! La maison est bien isolée, d’où une consommation électrique modérée malgré la saison.
Les pièces sont spacieuses et permettent d’accueillir une famille, même élargie. La literie est de très bonne qualité. Cuisine très bien équipée.
Abondante documentation pour tout savoir sur tout ce qui concerne le séjour : tout est prévu pour répondre au moindre désir. Propriétaire très attentif, à l’écoute : nous avons oublié des bricoles et il nous l’a signalé !
Oui, nous aussi nous reviendrons, car nous nous sentions chez nous et nous avons encore d’autres balades à expérimenter.

The house is centrally located on the Opal Coast and is a great base for walks and visits to the Boulogne sur Mer (aquarium). The furnishings are sober but fully equipped. The seating area is located on the mezzanine, which is a downside. There is a lovely garden where you can sit in the sun and have a barbecue. Communication with the owner runs smoothly but in French. The house has a good price/quality ratio. Beautiful surroundings.
De woning is centraal gelegen aan de Opaalkust en en mooie uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en bezoek aan de Boulogne sur Mer (aquarium). De inrichting is sober maar van alle gemakken voorzien. De zithoek bevindt zich op de vide, dat is een minpunt. Er is een heerlijke tuin waar je lekker in het zonnetje kan zitten en barbecuen. De communicatie met de eigenaar loopt soepel maar in het Frans. Het huis heeft een goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Mooie omgeving.
