Very good Chalet, we rented the house during the winter and due to the recent snowfall we were able to ski from the house to the ski lift (and even from the piste to the house, though this requires a fairly substantial descend off-piste). The owners were responsive in their communication and were able to offer us a discount on our skipasses. Overall we had a very nice stay!
Every now and then you get lucky and find an amazing home-from-home rental accommodation. Trust me, this is one of those 5* gems! Where do I start?
Clearly Marc & Patricia have put an enormous amount of thought and effort into making this chalet a home with everything you could possibly want. I believe this chalet was recently renovated during 2021 and so everything feels new.
The kitchen is truly well equipped…plenty of large and small plates, bowls, cutlery, glasses (both wine glasses and flutes, tumblers and pint glasses), mugs, cups, cooking utensils, pots and pans, to cater for ‘WELL OVER’ 12 people (we were 8, so plenty to spare). There is a dishwasher and also both a Fondue and Raclette set for those adventurous cooks, oh….and a sandwich toaster. Also provided is a Nespresso machine…we took our coffee pods but I believe you can buy pods in Tignes Le Lac if you forget to take your own. Our favourite kitchen device however was the table top ice maker…. perfect for that G&T after a hard day on the slopes!
The chalet has 4 large bedrooms all with en-suite with plenty of storage space. The beds were very comfortable. Three of the bedrooms have additional beds - two of those bedrooms having slightly smaller mattresses large enough for say a 13/14 year old depending on their height.
The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating and a huge dining table overlooking the enormous outside terrace and the beautiful views across the lake to Val Claret and the mountain beyond. The lounge has an open fire and plenty of wood to burn is supplied. The lounge also has a Bluetooth speaker to connect your own devices to (we hard wired our mobile phones as we couldn’t figure out the Bluetooth connection after a few glasses of wine!! Likely it was the wine which affected our senses than the speaker itself, so I’m sure anyone that’s tech savvy would be able to figure it out and if not, Marc is always available to help!). The lounge is also equipped with a smart TV and DVD and also has the ability to connect up a laptop.
The outside terrace is huge and we were lucky enough to bask in glorious sunshine for 4 days out of the 6 when we returned from the slopes. There is an outside BBQ (gas I think) and Wood Burner that unfortunately we didn’t get to try, but great as an option should you wish to use them.
There is plenty of WIFI throughout the chalet and not once did anyone moan about poor connectivity….not even when all 8 of us were on our devices!!
The chalet has it’s own private cinema room and sauna (for use solely by the occupants of this chalet…i.e. not shared with anyone) – additional towels are provided for the sauna. The cinema room has great surround-sound and you can connect to pretty much anything…Apple TV, Netflix, Prime, Disney, your own laptop and there are plenty of DVDs to choose from in the chalet should you not want to bring your own.
The chalet has its own private (not shared) boot warmer and ski rack, enough for at least 12 sets, conveniently positioned inside the chalet by the front door.
The owners Marc and Patricia are extremely welcoming and friendly. They are very close by should you need anything. Should you arrive in Tignes early before check-in or leave Tignes later after check-out, they will try and be as flexible as possible but if it’s not possible you can safely store your luggage in Marc and Patricia’s locked garage and head into town.
The walk into town where the ski schools meet takes no more than 5 minutes. Here you’ll also find a great supermarket with plenty of choice as well as plenty of restaurants nearby (I suggest you book 3-4 days in advance in peak season).

This is a well equipped and comfortable apartment, just down the Main Street in Les Gets. It was great to have breakfast looking out at the views over to the pistes and down the valley.
It is a short walk away from the bars and shops, ideal if you want somewhere quiet but within easy walking distance of the main lift, ski hire and night-life.
There’s a boulangerie very close and a supermarket 5 mins walk in to town. A great take away pizza place is also nearby.
Francois made renting and communicating easy and the deposit was returned promptly after our stay.
I would highly recommend the apartment for your stay in Les Gets.
Catherine and Patrick were very welcoming and accommodating during our stay, the chalet is only 3 minutes from the bars and restaurants in the village and is the most spacious we have ever stayed in over the past 5 years of renting ski chalets in the region. I definitely would recommend this chalet for large families.

Thanks to Véronique and the family for a perfect ski holiday, a super accommodation, situate right at the slopes. Close to a little mini market and ski rental. Everything was as expected and acording to the contract.
Véronique was easy to reach by email and answered very quickly.
It's possible to buy cleaning - 90 euros.

A lovely chalet in a great location. Ski-in and ski-out, but not for complete beginners.
The chalet is very well furnished and equipped, particularly the kitchen.
Communication with the owner was good too, which can be useful.
Well priced, would thoroughly recommend this chalet for a group.

Very nice, modern and perfectly well equipped apartment, it was even better than expected! Nice large couch. We used the low terrace chairs inside so that we had a comfortable reading chair for everyone. Perfect location, ski out/ski in. Enough space for 6 adults (the cabin was of course a little small for 2 almost 2m tall guys... but they knew on forehand and slept well). We loved our stay here. Communication with owner was good.
We were 5 youngsters and 2 adults that had a wonderfull sommer vacation in Tignes. The apartment is very nice with lots of space where everything just works - also wifi. It has a excellent location towards all the sommer activities and we can highly recommend this apartment.
We had a great stay in Avoriaz, the apartment was amazing. Lots of space and plenty of showers and toilets to accommodate everyone. Great views over the centre of Avoriaz. Apartment had all equipment that you would need. Especially I would like to thank the owners who managed to accommodate a late check out which gave us the opportunity to ski the morning of our departure. Overall we were all extremely happy with our weekend away and I can convey enough how helpful the owners were with everything that we asked.. We would highly recommend this apartment. A lovely apartment in a wonderful spot in this lovely family resort. The chalet is very well cared for and maintained and the facilities are perfect for what we want. A stroll down to the chair lifts and great restaurants within walking distance. We love it!
Really nice apartment in traditional Savoire style. Exceptionally well equipped with just about everything you could think of. Close to town and slopes. Free parking on road outside. Very comfortable.
Excellent stay. House really well prepared, with extense space. Everything worked as expected. We recommend it specially for families wishing to enjoy a good skiing week.
This was a fantastic property - lovely, well equipped kitchen, spacious (especially as we rented as 4 people so there was a spare room) and great views from the balcony. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and we were met and welcomed when we arrived - everyone very helpful and friendly. The appartment is close to the 'Morel' ski lift, a supermarket and also bus stop for the navette down to the main ski area in Meribel, so it's a great location.
Bedroom accomodation was excellent although there was no mention in advert of reduced headroom upstairs particularly in the Bathroom. Living accomodation and kitchen was a bit small to cook for 11 but ok (We are probably unusual in not eating out very much). A few problems with electrics but nothing to spoil the holiday. Position wise it was brilliant, right by ski lift and only a 2 minute walk to the man part of town. All in all a good apartment.
Charming chalet, ideal for 2 families. Very good equipped. Exceptional views. Right in front of the ski slopes which allows skiing from and to the chalet. Enough space to store / dry the ski equipment. Just keep in mind 300 meters that you have to carry luggage, food stuff etc. from parking to the chalet in winter times. Anyway: We´ll be back soon!
Comfortable, spacious and clean apartment in an ideal situation for the ski slopes, shops and bars. The owner was very helpful and friendly. We would not hesitate to use this apartment again if we return to Arc 2000.
This lovely apartment is situated in a quiet location within easy walking distance of the town center. It was very clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped. We highly recommend it.
