"I am an American expat who lives in France. I have rented apts. for many years all over France, Italy, the U.K. and Greece. I was completely amazed by what I found in renting this property. I have never found any place which was more conform to the description. In fact, this property was beyond the description. Though it is not an elegant 4 star hotel, everything about it is superb in every way. It is clean, there is more equipment and dishes for cooking and dining than you will ever need. It includes a great number of cleaning products, the apt. is accessible in the center of town, it is perfectly silent with big garden and views to town and the mountain. The apt. is light and airy, there are two sleeping spaces which are completely separate having doors in between each one of them. This property is near to everything, the skis lift, the excellent thermal baths, the town center with its shops, restaurants, bars, post office,and the casino. The apt. has wifi, flat screen TV, DVDs & player, and films. The photos of this rental are fine, but not as good as the reality. The best thing about it, however, is the owner, Bernard Fornier. He did everything he possibly could to insure a fine holiday. I did not have a car so he picked me up at the train station, took me around town to pick up my skis and some food, showed me where to find things; he even ran an errand for me in neasrby Andorra. When it was time to leave he drove me back to the train station always helping me with my luggage. I have never met a landlord who is so accommodating, so very helpful, and when you thank him he explains that he gets great pleasure from helping others. He is sensitive to the needs of his renters and goes out of his way to make sure that they have a pleasant stay. You will never find an owner like this gentleman. If you are staying in AX this is the best place you will find. You might find something more luxurious and more expensive, but you will not find anything where the value for the price is better; it just doesn''t exist. When we arrived, we had a problem with the heat pump for the spa but the owner did not try to hide it and undertook to resolve it quickly. Otherwise the chalet is very functional for a large family. We are very happy with it.
A notre arrivée, nous avons eu un pb de pompe à chaleur pour la balnéo mais le propriétaire n’a pas cherché à le cacher et s’est engagé à le résoudre rapidement. Sinon le chalet est très fonctionnel pour une grande famille. Nous en sommes très contents.

I highly recommend this chalet. We rented for 10, with 4 children. It is very well equipped, in the kitchen there is nothing to complain about, you have everything you need to cook. Well thought out for little ones (there is even a safety gate for the stairs). The only downside, but which is well indicated so no surprise, is the accessibility. Impossible to park your car at the foot of the chalet. But there is enough space downstairs to leave your car for free for the week. It is large enough for 10 people to live there without stepping on each other's toes. Access to the slopes 200m away via the baliu, very useful for starting your skiing day. For the esf plan to walk 500m to reach the lessons, but it is done very well. Unbeatable value for money! We will come back with pleasure.

Il est très bien équipé, dans la cuisine rien à redire vous avez tout pour cuisiner. Bien pensé pour les tous petits (il y a même la barrière de sécurité pour l'escalier).
Seul bémol, mais qui est bien indiqué donc pas de surprise, c'est l accessibilité. Impossible de garer sa voiture au pied du chalet. Mais il y a suffisamment de place en bas pour y laisser sa voiture gratuitement à la semaine.
Il est suffisamment grand pour y vivre à 10 sans se marcher sur les pieds.
Accès aux pistes à 200m par le baliu très appréciable pour débuter sa journée de ski. Pour l'esf prévoir de marcher 500m pour rejoindre les cours, mais ça se fait très bien.
Rapport qualité prix imbattable!

The accommodation is very correct. It has lots of storage. The kitchen is very well equipped. The owner is friendly and responsive. We are independent for arrival and departure. Impeccably clean. There were four of us and the accommodation is very well designed with a separate sleeping area. Thank you for your confidence.

A very large house with everything you need for comfort. There were 9 of us including 5 children who were able to have a good stay together in a room like in a camp. A toilet on each floor and a sink. The living room and dining room are quite large. The location is ideal, a 6-minute walk from the gondola. Nearby the central street, the thermal baths, lidl... the owner is very available to answer any questions you may have. And he gave us lots of good advice. A very nice discovery for this rental. We will come back with great pleasure.
Une très grande maison avec tout ce qu'il faut pour le confort. Nous étions 9 dont 5 enfants qui ont pû passer un bon séjour ensemble dans une chambre comme en colonie. Un WC à chaque étage et un lavabo. Le salon et la salle à manger sont assez grand. L'emplacement est idéal à 6 min à pied du télécabine. A proximité la rue centrale, les thermes, lidl...le propriétaire se montre très disponible pour répondre aux moindres questions que l'on se pose. Et il nous a donné pleins de bons conseils.
Une très belle découverte pour cette location. Nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Very beautiful house in Luchon, near the thermal baths, with rooms (kitchen, living room, dining room, bedrooms) on 2 floors perfectly equipped, a garden and a shed. Delighted to have been there for 1 week

We had a pleasant stay, the upstairs bedroom is large, bringing the two beds together is good, the bathroom is good except for the dust accumulated on the pipes around the toilets. I tried to remove it but it is encrusted in the plaster which covers them, the whole apartment needs to be refreshed, paper which is peeling off and linoleum full of marks, otherwise beautiful view of the mountain with beautiful sunrise, for the dishes 6 glasses is just right above all if it's rented for 7 p. and the mattress protectors are not good I haven't used them I always take them with me. otherwise we appreciated being able to rent with our two dogs because many rental companies refuse them to us and yet I leave the apartments I rent cleaner when I leave than when I arrive. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, la chambre du haut est grande en rapprochant les deux lits c'est bien ,la salle de bain est bien sauf la poussière accumulée sur les tuyaux autour des wc j'ai essayer de l'enlever mais elle est incrustée dans le crépi qui les recouvrent, l'ensemble de l'appartement serait à rafraichir papier qui se décolle et lino pleins de marques , sinon belle vue sur la montagne avec beau lever de soleil , pour la vaisselle 6 verres c'est juste surtout si c'est louer pour 7 p .et les protèges matelas ne sont pas nickel je ne les ai pas utilisés j'en emmène toujours . sinon nous avons apprécies d'avoir pu louer avec nos deux chiens
car beaucoup de loueurs nous les refusent et pourtant je laisse les appartements que je loue plus propre quand je part qu'a mon arrivée .
