The studio with a separate entrance is part of a traditional "cottage" built in the style of the famous 1920ies. On the one side, there is its beautiful garden, on the other, there is De Haan's green lungs (its wood, which is 50 hectares big). The house is situated only 150 meters from the center of De Haan (Coq-sur-Mer).
The village's romantic centre at the sea-side is famous for its pitcturesque buildings of the Belle Epoque. This place is favoured by people who are looking for a quite oasis to flee the hectic of there everyday lifes.
Bruges, that is also known as "Venice of the North", is only a 15 km drive. Tourists from all over the world visit this gorgeous, medieval town throughout the whole year.
Ostende, the queen of bathing resorts, is as close as 15 km.
If you prefer public transport, there is a tram. that goes along the entire coast. Its famous station, which was built in 1902, is situated just 150 meters from the house. There is also a direct bus to Bruges.
A small barbecue would be welcome for the summer due to the small size of the kitchenette.

We have all the necessary equipment, everything we have at home, everything is at our disposal for a stay with all the necessary comfort.
The owner is extremely friendly. Leaflets with everything to do in the surroundings, with or without children. It is very available for the least question.
Very present if necessary but also very discreet to let us spend a holiday without family intimacy or friendly.
I personally went there with my two children of 2 and 6 years old. They were greeted as warmly as I was.
To summarize studio and owner recommendable and recommended.

Sleeping on a raised platform above the hall is very tight, down on the sofa, you have more space, but that is quick to deploy.
