Gorgeous cottage- much bigger than it seems-3 good sized bedrooms, huge bathroom, 2 living areas, downstairs shower & loo.... great kitchen & super sheltered outside space.
We know the area well- so just spent our week walking .... the car did not move at all.
The seafood of the area is outstanding and great value... the steam train to St Valerie is a must- get the 11am, have another lovely lunch there and catch the train back- a simple but great day out.
The beach is sandy and clean- huge tidal flow... amazing sunsets
The shopping in Le Crotoy is more than adequate- a good Carrefour and some local speciality shops... and a good market too.
We had a super week ... really relaxing- a total step back to simple stuff.
The lack of internet and reliable phone signal was a bit of annoyance- but only because my husband needed to keep in touch with work... but it didnt bother me or the kids too much.
Martine was very friendly with good communications, she met us at the house at the start and end of our break - made everything so easy

Loved the cottage. It was just around the corner from the beach and not far to the local bakery & supermarket. The owner left lots of information on places to visit. Would stay here again. Had a great week
We chose this apartment because we were let down on an earlier booking, but we were so pleased! On entering the building and indeed when first going into the apartment, it feels very utilitarian and bare but don't be put off! The apartment is so close to the beach and its biggest plus is the huge balcony which catches the sun for most of the day.
The apartment is very well equipped with plenty of glasses and crockery and everything you might need in the kitchen - except maybe a kettle. There are plenty of chairs inside and out. The beds are comfy and we all slept well. The 'cabine' with the bunkbeds is in a section of hallway near one of the bedrooms but cosier than it sounds and my 12 yr old son was very happy with it.
We loved the town of Fort Mahon Plage, plenty of restaurants and ice cream shops, plus a good boulangerie. The restaurants were not cheap but the food was of a high quality.
The beach is Fort Mahon's biggest attraction - a long, wide and very sandy beach with plenty of space and the sea was warm too.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this apartment, and would happily visit again in the future. One tip - email the owner in French for a prompt and helpful reply.
Location was great - we had a great holiday helped by wonderful weather. View from the flat over the beach is wonderful.
Property needs a little attention: bunk bed very creaky - top bunk not really useable and sofa cover needs replacing. Surprising lack of many basic kitchen utensils.
I feel the advert should state that it is a second floor flat accessed only by a steep staircase.
Very charming and thoughtful owners. A bottle of sparkling wine had been put in the refrigerator for us. All went well. The rental is really very clean, with a garden and right in the city center with all the amenities. As for parking, the whole town has paid parking, but the owners have nothing to do with it... This is the case in the towns along the Bay of Somme. A daily rate of 5 euros was very useful to us.
Propriétaires très charmants et plein d'intention. Une bouteille de pétillant nous avait été mise au réfrigérateur. Tout c'est bien passé. La location est vraiment très propre, avec un jardin et en plein centre ville avec toutes les commodités.
Pour le stationnement, toute la ville est en stationnement payant, mais les propriétaires n'y sont pour rien... C'est ainsi dans les villes le long de la baie de Somme. Un forfait journalier de 5 euros nous a bien été utile.
The rental is very well located and the equipment is of good quality. The garden is pleasant. The only downside is that the shower cabin is really very small and needs to be modified.
La location est très bien situé et les équipements de bonne qualité. Le jardin est agréable. Seule fausse note la cabine de douche est vraiment très petite et mérite d'être modifiée.

Very nice rental in the town center 200m from the beach in Crotoy. Access to numerous shops and restaurants-bars right next door. LIDL stores in neighboring villages such as Rue or St Valérie sur Somme 10 km ~... Many activities for all tastes and all ages!!! Many beaches more or less close, each more beautiful than the other. Sandy beaches or pebble beaches easily accessible and fantastic! For hikers of all levels, different walks to do! On foot or by bike, the most beautiful wonders await you. Even in rainy weather, it's great! So come to the Bay of Somme, to discover absolutely.. If you are a swimming pool enthusiast, go to DIEPPE - Pools for all, indoor and outdoor... From 7 to 77 years old, the choices are such that there is not enough time to do everything! Holidays are always too short, and in the Bay of Somme, it's real! From castles, museums, and others, to parks, beaches or swimming pools, games for the youngest, various local events all summer long... Adream, a paradise to discover!

De "7 à 77 ans", les choix sont tel qu'il n'y a pas assez de temps pour tout faire !
Les vacances c'est toujours trop court, et bien dans la Baie de Somme, c'est du concret !
Des châteaux, musées, et autres, aux parcs, des plages ou piscines, des jeux pour les plus jeunes, des animations locales diverses et variées tout l Été...

A warm and very clean house, remarkably placed and quiet, with an adorable little garden sheltered from the wind. We had a great week there and will be very happy to come back, especially since the owners are charming and we thank them for their friendly welcome: thank you for the flowers, for the little buns and the 2 birthday candles for our little blond ??

Very good stay in the mobile home. Comfort everything was there, only downside perhaps: it's not exactly like the picture, I expected the plot to be closed with a gate (practical question with a baby running everywhere) but we will come back with pleasure. The price was very reasonable. THANKS

Confort tout y était, seul bémol peut-être : ce n’est pas exactement comme sur la photo, je m’attendais à ce que la parcelle soit fermé avec un portail (question pratique avec un bébé qui court partout) mais nous reviendrons avec plaisir. The house is as described, it is clean and there is enough of everything. The garden is ingeniously walled high, ideal with a dog. It is absolutely central in the pedestrian zone, you can easily walk to the town and the beaches. We liked it, we would like to come back.
When advertising or contacting interested parties, one should perhaps point out that parking in the vicinity of the house is limited to one hour with a parking disc and that parking throughout the city is subject to a fee. If you don't speak and read French, it's very difficult to cope upon arrival. There is the possibility to buy a parking ticket for 7 days for 30 euros. I would have been very happy about such a practical tip in advance, because that is an acceptable price.
Das Haus ist wie beschrieben, es ist sauber und von allem ist genügend vorhanden. Der Garten genial hoch eingemauert, ideal mit Hund.
Es liegt absolut zentral in der Fußgängerzone, man kann den Ort und die Strände sehr gut fussläufig bewältigen.
Es hat uns gut gefallen, wir möchten gerne wiederkommen.
Hier sollte man bei der Anzeige bzw. beim Kontakt mit Interessenten vielleicht drauf hinweisen, dass das Parken im Umfeld des Hauses auf eine Stunde mit Parkscheibe begrenzt ist und das Parken in der gesamten Stadt kostenpflichtig ist. Wenn man nicht Französisch spricht und lesen kann, ist es sehr schwierig bei der Ankunft klarzukommen. Es gibt die Möglichkeit ein Parkticket für 7 Tage für 30 Euro zu kaufen. Über einen solchen praktischen Tipp hätte ich mich im Vorfeld sehr gefreut, denn das ist ein akzeptabler Preis.
We spent a very good weekend in this pretty rental, in perfect agreement with the presentation photos, "a memory aid" is provided in order to find all the well hidden switches. We steal the idea from the post ;-).
A pretty house and its adjacent studio where nothing is missing, on the contrary a lot of little extras that make all the difference and even our animals appreciated it.
In addition, there is a 2-hour horse-drawn carriage ride, walks by the sea and the restaurant "la pointe du Hourdel" to be recommended.
We had good discussions with the owners as well as the person to whom we return the keys at the end of the stay.
You will have understood that it was a great discovery, which we recommend.

Nous avons passé un très bon weekend dans cette jolie location, en parfait accord avec les photos de présentation, "un aide mémoire" est fourni de façon à trouver tous les interrupteurs bien cachés. Nous piquons l'idée du poteau ;-).
Une jolie maison et son studio adjacent où rien ne manque, bien au contraire beaucoup de petits plus qui font toute la différence et même nos animaux ont apprécié.
A cela s'ajoute une balade en calèche de 2h, balades en bord de mer et restaurant "la pointe du Hourdel" à conseiller.
Nous avons eu de bons échanges avec les propriétaires ainsi que la personne à qui nous restituons les clés en fin de séjour.
Vous l'aurez compris ce fût une belle découverte, que nous conseillons.

Apartment in line with what I expected: located on the ground floor with secure parking in front of the building, maximum comfort inside, terrace at the back with lawn and direct view of the bay of Crotoy. To advice.
Appartement conforme à ce que j'espérais : situé au rez-de-chaussée avec parking sécurisé face à l'immeuble, confort maximum a l'intérieur, terrasse à l'arrière avec pelouse et vue directe sur la baie du Crotoy. A conseiller.
We had a very pleasant stay in this cottage. Everything was as pictured and described. Everyone had their space and we appreciated the neat decoration of each room in connection with the seaside and the Bay of Somme. The owners are charming and offered us a sparkling non-alcoholic rhubarb drink which we appreciated when we arrived.
The fishing village of Le Crotoy is very pleasant to live in and the Baie de Somme was a great discovery for our whole family. The temperatures were ideal (around 20 degrees) to visit the surroundings. We recommend this rental.
Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans cette maisonnette. Tout était conforme aux photos et à la description. Chacun avait son espace et nous avons apprécié la décoration soignée de chaque pièce en lien avec le bord de mer et la baie de Somme. Les propriétaires sont charmants et nous ont offert une boisson pétillante sans alcool à base de rhubarbe que nous avons bien appréciée à notre arrivée.
Le village de pêcheurs du Crotoy est très agréable à vivre et la baie de Somme a été une belle découverte pour toute notre famille. Les températures étaient idéales (20 degrés environs) pour visiter les alentours.
Nous recommandons cette location.
